Upon a few months of thinking about it, I realized I was far too hasty in creating a Patreon page. I am unable to provide the kind of services that would make it worthwhile to subscribe to me. I had no content on my page. While I did make enough to fund the purchase of comics for my comic review show, I felt guilty about taking money from others for a complete lack of service, even though I intended it as a tip jar.
Patreon is not the service for me, clearly. I applaud its purpose in funding others, but for me, it isn't an option, not until I can provide something worthwhile for your money.
I'm investigating other options, like a Ko-fi page, where you don't have to actively subscribe to fund me... but for now, I guess I'm out the money that you guys so generously gave me
Thank you all for your immensely generous support. I truly DID appreciate it, and I wish I could have provided something more solid in return.
