Basically, we’ve had infiltration problems at my workplace and yesterday we had a repairman checking and repairing it. Work was done, no more infiltrations, yay! Fast forward into the night, your’s trully at work, storm rolls in (remnants of Ophelia I believe), and BAM, the infiltration that was repaired wasn’t, in fact it was worse. I’m not talking about a few droplets dripping in.. I’m talking the water having enough pressure to PUNCH through the wall and arc halfway to the middle of the hallway. Boss was not a happy person when I told her in the morning.
So what does that have to do with zen, murder and roman emperors? Been reading some articles on Stoicism coincidentally and sure enough ol’ Aurelius words came up. Dood was a wise fuck. Actually remained calm throughout the situation and solved shit and did so without giving a terminal case of the deds to a certain dumbass repairman. If procrastination is a cancer, then wikipedia is it’s number one vector.
On other news.. bit of an awkward moment.. got a tweet and a follow from a game studio saying they like my artwork and asking if I do animations.. on my gallery account which is nsfw.. when stuff you like appears in your followers timelines...welp... I replied thanking them and saying I was flattered but that I had never animated in my life (well not in any significant way). That genuinely made my day, but it also strenghtened the idea I should separate my sfw and nsfw stuff.
Also the “Cleaning Lastik’s Room” project revealed an unexpected boon. Came upon my old highschool and university sketchbooks! I’m genuinely tempted to photo and upload some of the stuff to my scraps, just to share my cringe stuff from back in the days!
Lewd wise, need to start the halloween pic.. been mulling on the idea of a crossover with Velma and Hex maniac, but haven’t put pen to paper yet. I’m also trying to cut down on videogaming a bit chiefly because I want to draw more and there’s only so many hours in a day. I’ve already cut entirely my warhammer addiction (much to my wallet’s joy). My vacations ended without me scratching any movie from my bucket list.
