POO PEE LIFE DOT COM CLOSING

By my understanding, they will be closing down, so one of two things here.

We either try to raise some funds, and then I take over.
OR

People go to my site, @ http://poopeeplushie.com

I'd love to have both actually, than PooPeeLife can be my sister site.
I have not got in contact with the Administrators, but if I can talk with them sometime, I wouldn't mind taking over... OR Someone else to take over. I just don't want to see the site die.

Thanks For Reading.

I know, this is long....

I'd really hate to see PooPeeLife die, but at the same time, it's barely on the outer edge of my interest.  PooPeeLife has devolved into being 99 percent human porn, and that does nothing at all for me.  I'm guessing there might be around 50 thousand images there, and of those, you'd have a hard time finding even 100 that featured any plushies or fursuits. Actually, I've never seen any fursuit pictures there, outside of the few I posted.

PeePooLife is on a server that is so gut-wrentchingly slow, that anyone taking over would be wise to simply start over from scratch.  I remember when the site used to be called WetPantsBoy, and it was so much faster.  It was almost 100 percent guys wetting in their clothes, with almost no porn content at all. Then they started to allow pooping, which was still okay, as long as it was clothed. The settings allowed people to see pee, poo or both.  Pictures and videos, were both free.  Then the site started to allow naked pooping, peeing and porn. Now there is far more naked human porn content there than what the site was originally for.

The worst blow came when they moved to their new, much slower, server, while adding the requirement to pay for videos.  They expected users to pay for much slower service that had strayed far from what the site was originally made for.  I uploaded a fair amount of stuff there, but got next to zero feedback on any of it over the years.  The only way to get a reaction there is to post picks of your cock or ass.  Then you get cheap comments like, "nice cock" or "I'd love to lick that" comments.  Keep it in your clothes, or do it on a plush, and you get no feedback at all.  Needless to say, I moved on.

I'm not sure if taking over PooPeeLife would work, at least not in the form it's currently in. Keep in mind that 99 percent of the users there are not interested in plushie or fursuit stuff at all, and are likely only there for human on human stuff.  If you got the site, and tried to change that, nearly all of those users would leave.  If you left it mainly as it is, it wouldn't attract people who are into plushies or fursuits.  The best option is to concentrate on making your own site the best it can me, especially now that you have a fair number of members.

Perhaps it would be good to think of ways to attract more related content. If some furry wetting or scat artists shared some of their art on the site, it might help. Ideally, users would share more of their own plushie and fursuit fun.  One thing that deters people big time, is that there is no real community. Nearly all of the profiles are empty. There needs to be some incentive for people to open up and post a little about their interests.  Are there any modules in the site software that might encourage open participation?  I'm guessing that any addons to the site are probably not going to be free to experiment with.

Look at FurriesXtreme. You see that area on people's profiles that shows their recent comments and image submissions.  It's the lower right area.  Can something like that be added in to PooPeePlushie?  I'm thinking of anything to liven up the otherwise blank profile pages.  I'm just trying to think of ways to encourage people to participate and share.  That's what makes it a community, and it's what would keep people interested and coming back for more.  Encouraging people to communicate on the site can help to make it a community. Once it's a community, then members will be more likely to want to protect it and even pay for it.

If PooPeeLife goes away, it won't really affect me.  But I definitely hope that PooPeePlushie gets more activity and can afford to stick around.

That is why I requested a sub domain. That way, they can post what ever tickles their fancy, as long as it is legal.
I am sorry for such a short reply to such a long one.
