Halloween Odds and Ends

1. Traditional zombies, ghouls, and vampires make no sense to me. Like, they're living corpses that need to feed on the flesh/blood of the living or recently deceased to survive, but as several modern interpretations have explored, they can't actually digest the stuff they consume, so what's the point? Energy vampires like jiangshi make more sense, in that respect.

2. We all know that, in the first Friday the 13th movie, it was Jason's mom that was the killer, but at the end, we see the real Jason, and he's a zombie child. How, then, did he become the hulking monstrosity we know him as, in the sequels? He died as a kid! Corpses don't age or grow! He should be a zombie version of the young Michael Meyers from the first Halloween, in that respect.

3. I don't get the argument that Jigsaw doesn't actually kill his victims in the Saw franchise; he kidnaps them, mutilates them, hooks them up to a sadistic death trap, and tells them to mutilate themselves, further, if they want to live. Either way, he's coercing them with the threat of death to do something he wants them to do, instigated the means for their death, and even if the victim survives, they'll be suffering with severe PTSD and physical mutilation that he forced them to perform on themselves. I'd call him a monster, but I don't want to insult the cards of Yugioh!

4. The premise behind Final Destination makes no sense to me, especially with the revelation that Death himself is instigating the visions that start the whole shebang. If it were another power giving the visions, and Death were unaware of this, then it would be more understandable, but it doesn't explain the Rube Goldbergian way of killing off the intended victims Death chooses. Also, why does committing temporary suicide take you off Death's list? You still cheated death. And what's to stop Death from making the temporary euthanasia permanent? In one part of the sequels, it's revealed that not only can Death change his list around at will, killing off whoever he wants in what over he wants, but when one of the intended victims tries to take their own life with a revolver, it's implied Death caused all of the misfires that saved his life, because "it wasn't his time"... that shows that Death can directly interfere with the death of a mortal, so why can't he make the death cheat at the end a true death?

5. I posted this before, but only one person really answered on here, so I'll repost: I know that Hellraiser and A Nightmare on Elm Street were initially going to be one-off happy ending movies, and the studios that produced them went behind the director's back to make the endings ambiguous so a franchise could spawn, making the directors leave the project in disgust. Has there been other horror movies like this, where they were intended to end happily and be one-off movies, but were shoehorned in by executive meddling to become franchises?

6. Speaking of Hellraiser, I read that, initially, the Wisdom Tree game Super 3D Noah's Ark started out as a Wolfenstein version of a Hellraiser game. Has anyone ever attempted to modify either the former or the latter game to have the Hellraiser aesthetic to it? That would be cool to see.

7. I've seen plenty of porn of the Xenomorphs, Yautja, and other horror movie aliens and creatures, but there's surprisingly little porn of the hybrid alien creatures from the movie series Species. I mean, they take the sexual connotations of the xenomorphs and makes them deliberately obvious. Hell, the first two female monsters in the franchise have tentacles that come out of their nipples, and the males have tentacle cocks that the females suck on! How is this not pornified, yet?
