Cubs

I swear... ever since the FA ban on cub porn, that's almost literally all I see in the IB front page.

I didn't think such a thing would bother me (cub porn by itself doesn't bother me at all), but it's really starting to become cub central all up in here :/

This will continue to last for another week or so imho, then things will settle down. There are a lot of cub artists migrating, that's all..

Even if it's just for a week or so while things cool down, You could blot out the "cub" keyword.
You are right, though, It is a rather large load :o

I think that once the "Great Cub Migration" settles down that Inkbunny will return to normal.

Yeah, I'm sure artists don't want all their hard work to just fade away when all the posts get deleted on FA... so they're getting it up somewhere... like everyone else said, it'll slowdown a lot after a while.

Mostly it's... what everyone here already said, darn, I'm late--that cub artists who no longer feel welcome on FA are suddenly reposting all their artwork, so you're getting entire galleries' worth of old cub art versus the usual trickle of new art across the board.

And, as has been said here already (curse my slow fingers) within a week or three, this will all settle out as most of the migratory artists finish uploading their galleries.

I agree. I do like cub stuff, but this site is supposed to make every fur feel welcome and included and represented. I hope it changes soon.

That's kinda silly... A larger majority of art from one type makes you feel less represented and welcome? So... cub art is okay, as long as they are a minority (...being the position you feel you are in right now)?

Not saying I disagree with the fact that cub art is kinda overloading stuff right now (cub artists moving their whole gallery over) but "I don't like being in this position. I want THEM to be in this position instead, then all is okay" is kinda silly.

It's going to look like too much one way or the other until everything looks equal again. I'm for equality all around. Just 'cause I'm a cub, I'm still not looking for "cub reparations."

The sudden influx of cub stuff will probably stop pretty soon (week or two). You know, once people have 99% of their stuff transferred over from FA.

At which point, uploads will return to normal.

I really don't mind cub art so much (I'm starting to realize that I don't like it particularly anymore, not this kind anyway.), but I agree 100%. I agree with these guys that it will slow down soon enough.

What's pissing me off, however, is that none of the FA migrants are properly labeling their keywords, so I'm now seeing a whole bunch of crap I don't want to see.

There are a good amount of good artists here, so at the moment, I see no reason to leave. However, I'd prefer InkBunny didn't become Wildcritters: The Sequel. That's just my opinion, though.

I think IB is a much better art site then FA anyway it's much easier to navigate and browse. You can also find artist easier where as you couldn't search for an artist by name on FA. ......... NOT TO MENTION THE AWESOME BACK GROUND!!!! lol

That is due to all the artists scrambling to upload any art they fear might be deleted by FA (not just cub but short characters etc)

This is the next best place to put it for now. There will be a lot of them posted until the ones that were made and posted on FA are moved here. It will even out eventually and it will be like FA was.

Don't worry about the flooding of cub here at IB. Think of it as... relocation from a crappy site to a good site. People gotta bring their stash here. It'll quiet down. Eventually. A little bit.
