Now a company (bank, I believe) is calling him about an account that he had paid off and told them to close when that happened, saying that he has 30 days to pay an outstanding balance of USD$240. Further, as is usual with this sort of corporate-committed sabotage of American citizens, when he told them that the account was supposed to have been closed, they insisted that they can't close it until the new balance is paid off.
