October Update 1/2

Greetings and bienvenue, all. It has been quite some time since I've last made an update journal. As a result, I will diverge away from the professional side for just a moment so as to give a bit of personal context.

Long story short, in the last month or so, I have been doing my best to move forward towards a proper job so as to gain some income. Due to the way things have gone, I have come close numerous times to suffering a mental breakdown. Doing my utmost best in numerous areas is hard, given how I need to essentially rewire myself from something I've been doing for years into another thing proper. It's something that's requiring an immense amount of effort on my part, with no shortage of problems from any direction. Still, I must and will press on, because even if I'm broken by the end of it, at least some good will come out of it all.

But that's all on the personal end. Let's get onto the business side of things!

First things first, content. Something I have been SEVERELY neglectful of. To sum it all up, I have plenty of stuff in the works, and this time, you are going to see it. I have twenty-three pictures planned for Halloween, and while I am a bit skeptical whether or not I can actually get out even one, I think with the new determination I have found within myself I can do this. I can make determination into discipline, and temper it with passion.

Expect to see at least one picture here either later on tonight (It's still October 1st from when I'm submitting this journal), if not tomorrow. I have worked on the images well beforehand, so there should be some things to help tide things over. Not to mention that in the event I somehow haven't uploaded full images yet (The first batch is to be uploaded all this week and part of the next), WIPs will be put up too. WIPs of the next batch are going to be uploaded too.

For this month, the main focus is obviously Halloween. With twenty-three pictures planned and set to be produced, that's four batches; Every batch but the fourth contains seven pictures. Let's see if even one batch can be properly completed, shall we?

To help things move along as smoothly as possible, I will be working well in advance of other things as well. Next month is November, and that means a fresh month full of possibilities. I do want to plan at least one picture for Thanksgiving, just for the occasion. But, November is also well known by a youtuber called PeanutButterGamer as Zelda Month. As such, I actually have some stuff planned for Zelda Month too! The series has been a childhood favorite of mine, but unlike Star Fox or Metroid or even Pokemon, I've honestly never drawn anything from it except for some crappy sketches in my teenage years. Still, something else to look forward to. And as it's literally right around the corner, I will be working on a HUGE thing for December. Things are expected to really pick up in the month and the weeks leading up to it, so I'll be doing my utmost best in preparing for things very well beforehand. I do have an advent calendar planned too, so combined with the workload expected for Christmas just naturally, that's fifty-one fully done pictures in whole. Can I make that happen? Honestly, given how I can make things work, there is a possibility. We'll just have to see, but I am hellbent on making it so.

Now that was one hell of a paragraph, pardon my language. Onto the next thing.

I have made a good number of other accounts too, such as on SoFurry and ArtStation. I do have other accounts to be set up, and I will be working on those post haste.

I have finally decided on a name for the company I wish to make, so now comes the stuff like copyright and all that. Very soon, I hope to have some concepts that are least feasible enough to warrant public viewing. And hopefully, in the case of games, proper alphas.

I do have animations planned, but as of this moment, shortfalls in resources are preventing anything substantial being made. In short, if I do make animations, they will be very brief and more likely to be tests than anything. Or maybe, if I can maintain the motivation and focus needed, some quick little goodies. Stay tuned.

The comic stuff I've been mentioning a whole lot is still going. I'm now in the process of having it done. Doing mobile suits is a little problematic, but considering that we're still in the concept stage, I'm going to go fullscale on repressing the inner critic within me and acknowledge the fact that while my work is flawed and would be better off hidden from the community at large, or even just not drawn at all, it'd be much better to keep going with my head held high and let people see what I can do. See where I started when the later years finally come. So please excuse me if things are far less than satisfactory.

Things in regards to requests and commissions are still in work, but, at this rate, they are almost finished. As soon as I get my hands on some more supplies, I can begin. Commissions are going to be rather simple starting out, with art just being the focus for the time being. Hopefully relatively soon, things can be expanded to CG/3D animations and models, traditional animations, mods, and even hand sculpted statues, trinkets, and ID cards. More on this later, but I am becoming more and more prepared to make some high quality works for everybody.

Later on down the line, I am considering a Patreon. But due to my own personal stances on it, it is something I'm rather hesitant about. Still, around next year (Late January at the earliest), it is a possibility. If I do somehow set one up, it's likely to be a tip jar. Something simple, as I'm quite early release bonuses are not warranted by my work and quality, both current and projected. If you have any thoughts or suggestions on the matter, please do feel free to share.

For the time being, I'm going to stop talking about mods, as I've mentioned a thousand figurative times (And quite possibly literal) about that they're coming with little to no indication as for what they were about. So whenever I have at least three complete mods ready, I will share it in a journal.

I'll be revising my page further, as well as commission prices on the commission info tab. I'll be making a separate submission with all of the relevant info for later on. If you have any questions or input, do feel free to share it.

So, to round that out, here are the overall things to get done by month's end
+Four out of twenty-three pictures for Halloween (Not including icons and sketches)
+Four ref sheets (Three for my boyfriend, one for me)
+Concepts for comics, games, and animations shared with the public
+Details for commissions and requests done

I would say more, but despite this being the first journal in a couple of months, it is important to start small. I do have a good feeling about this month, and I fully intend to deliver. A bright future is ahead, but before I can achieve it, I need to establish my own ground rules, as well as find my true limitations so to break them later.

But words are just words for the time being, and I shall make them into action.

Thank you all for your time, and may your lives be blessed and fortunate. Take care
