Back to work. Garbage.

Should've stayed home, lol. Went back to work Tuesday after being out with my concussion in August 4th. This whole week has been one major fuck-fest. Supposed to have AT LEAST 4 baggers closing. We had fucking two this whole week thanks to people calling out. Four people each day. Friday, yesterday, only one person called out, but we only had three people. Me and two others, but they were minors so they really can't do much of anything aside from sweeping. So I had to do pretty much everything from cleaning the store, all the trash since other departments were short as well, run the floor machine, and block everything. Blocking, if you don't know, is where you make all the products are even and level. So instead of getting off at 11, I didn't get home till around 1:30.

Guess I shouldn't complain though. My paycheck will be *Bobby Roode Voice* GLORIOUS!! But it's going away since I have rent, car insurance, and my phone bill due all pretty much due in the same week, lol. Sorry for the rant, but I had to complain. This week was horrible. But I did get a little drunk. The store I work at got these mini Strongbow Hard Cider drinks. They're 5.1 FL OZ. 4-6 % alcohol each.  I had around 12 of them, lol. I was tanked around 1:40, but it's wearing off cause it's currently 5:52 in Stockbridge, Georgia. It's definitely a drinking weekend. But I do feel better after typing this out. Even if I don't have many real friends, it's good to just let it out. Even if nobody really cares cause everyone has problems. Some worse than you. Always be thankful for what you have. I'm not religious or anything. I'm agnostic. But that doesn't mean that you can't appreciate what you have and what you have done or gone through to get those things. There is ALWAYS someone that has it worse than you.

Anyways, I'm about done. Oh, I did do a video of me driving home. Has some good music on it as I was listening to the radio. Alternative Rock and Classic Rock. Here's a link if anyone wants to check it out. It's about 6 minutes long. Also, add me as a friend if you want. Friends make the world go round. :)

You're absolutely right.  Someone ALWAYS has it worse than us.  I know you been through quite a bit in your life, everything from being in the military to being in a homeless shelter, but you WORKED for what you have.  Also, working in a grocery store can be a little stressful at times, especially when it's ALWAYS understaffed and the managers just hate everyone, period.  I work in one as well, and while it is sometimes easy money, I do have my bad days.  I'm definitely moving out of there once the year ends and finding something that pays a bit better, like an office job or a janitorial position.  But again, you are correct: we should be thankful for what we got. c:

The thing is that I don't make nowhere near enough to live on my own. I'm at the point where IDK what I'm going to do when I get really older like in my 40's or 50's, lol.

I'm in the same boat as you.  I don't make enough to live on my own either.  Working in retail isn't exactly a lucrative career.  You make enough for food for the week and a little something to spend on yourself occasionally, but not nearly enough to pay rent.  My brother is working for the LIRR and he's already on his way to moving out of this house.  He has a career he can retire off of.  I don't.
