The thing with Patreon and why it might deciede if I stay with Inkbunny audience.

A follow up to my previous journal. This is immportant if you watch me.

First of all, thank you for all the answers on my previous journal, I didn't really expected to recieve that much, all your comments were really nice to hear.

I have some things to announce, regarding what makes me draw for you in first place:

Patreon

As a small announcement, I've updated the description of my page, you will now see more information about it in the description, and I will add images on it in the future.

About content, I know I have said this countless of times and I'm pretty sure this is starting to annoy people because I have read your comments on my pictures that get outside of this website:
at this point, I have come to a really miserable point where I am in between the line of inkbunny's audience and the line of a more softened family friendly audience.
Let me explain this straight:
I don't have a work, I can't work right now, I go to college on afternoons, I focus myself on nights to work on the content that is ONLY allowed to be seen on inkbunny, this is because Inkbunny has generated more income to me than any other site. Is like something I do as a work today.
A year ago, my Patreon page used to have a different manner of work:
You helped me, and Patreons got requests.
However this reward model was starting to get on the way with the common fanarts you probably watched me for: Asriel, Koopalings, MLP, all the cub fanart. And during that time many noticed I was rarely posting fanarts, this is because the number of requests coming in that time was increasing and I came to a point where I was only posting that. Most of them were original characters from people, and the ideas... well, wasn't very convincing at all to my watchers here. It's understandable, they came here for other things.
Also, when I was moved to the afternoon turn in college, this became a nightmare: I wasn't having the enough time to fullfill all requests, I was owing requests, all this was starting to slowly accomulating on my queue, making me way slower on common fanarts, and also disappointing patreons.
During that period that lasted 6 months I lost over half of the income I was previously getting.

That's why on July I decieded to change this model to one that may allow me to focus more on fanart, but the best part here: Collectively supporters will request and choose what is going to be drawn now.
This means, more fanart, as you choose. While keeping part of the older model to higher tiers.
As I'm trying to recover what I used to make this is when I talk about the second part of this:

Why this can affect my main focus on inkbunny.

To keep things short: Since this is my only income and I have lost over the half of what I used to make, all this income was intended to pay bills: Internet, supplies, upgrades. I was earning this money mainly to keep a better focus on art, and of course, quit the current college I'm going in and move to one focused on art and animation.
All this fucked up in the last 6 months, this is all fault of my college, and the fact that I'm dragged in by my family unless I make the enough money monthly to pay for the art college instead. Now what I make is just enough to pay the internet.
And just if I don't recover to at least the 75% of what I used to make previously. I might move on to another audience and focus Patreon to this other audiences, so you will probably stop seeing art from me on this website.

This sounds really stupid but in fact my income is threaten to make me quit on cub art and go to other kind of art content that will be focused in a different audience.
This is why I keep talking about Patreon all the time everytime I post new works here. I'm trying to increase my income back to what I used to make at least.
I already give a lot to the smallest supporters of patreon: The ones who pledge $1 a MONTH. and over 800 people watch me here.
If just 20% of this watchers pledged just $1 monthly, this will be more than enough to keep me working on things here.
I'm sorry about how annoying this sounds but things are not going to work for me here if I don't make something...

again here is my main Patreon, the one focused on Inkbunny, cubs and rewards for watchers: https://www.patreon.com/tribedragon

This is my secondary patreon, currently a tipjar, and this is the one intended to clean art only: https://www.patreon.com/charmandrigo

Has the discord server been made yet? I've picked the pledge to have access to the server but it doesn't seem to pop up on my end.

My server has been existing for so long and is linked on my page even, but I think the bot is not working correctly, I mean I noticed it has never worked to many artists. It used to work when Patreon announced their partnerting with Discord

but my discord should have automatically showed to you at the moment you pledged in case you choose a reward that included Discord rewards, but if you're on my server already, message me there and I will add you to the patreon role.

Also, my discord is linked here and my patreon description, but I'm unsure if the links are still working.

I'm sorry it has come to this, but i completely understand the desperation. I do hope this journal will be a somewhat wakeup call to some people, but i will try my best to support you even more.
