Free Dropbox Space

Dropbox recently released a new beta version of there desktop software. In exchange for testing a specific feature you can gain free space up to 5gb (And it's easy to do)

http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/03/dropbox-beta-5gb-fr...

All you have to do is connect your phone/camera to your PC and when the autoplay menu starts (If you have autoplay enabled. I keep it off but you can goto My Computer and right click on the device and click "Open Autoplay") and it will search the device for photos/videos in the camera directory and auto upload them to a folder in your dropbox. For the first image you upload in this way you get 500mb extra space for free. After that for every 500mb's you upload in this way you get another 500mb free space up to a total of 5gb. My account went from just 2.3gb space earlier today to 4.8gb by doing this! Hopefully till get the full 5.0gb soon (Assuming they do there measurement in a rounded way and not the actual space way. Otherwise I am already at the 5gb mark).

Is it hot-linkable? Like can you share those files with anyone through a simple link?

Don't forget to thank Google for such space on Hotmail, btw. Hotmail users would still only have 2 megabytes if it wasn't for Google freely giving out several gigabytes. =p Also if you can spare just $20 a year (so $1.66/mo), you'll get 80GB of storage across the entire Google suite of service. =p
