So I've been debating this for a few weeks and decided it's probably good that I do this. I'm going to be taking a step back from posting for a little while. Mostly just turning on "Lurker mode" for this and other sites I usually visit.
A few reasons for doing this. One of the major reasons is just the fandom and what it's turned into. Everywhere I look; there is talk of politics, things about genders, taking sides over this and that, hate this, hate that and just arguments and screaming all over.
I'm doing my best not to get into any of this because I feel this just isn't the place for those kinds of things. (I'm mean for fuck sakes I avoid the news to get away from this crap. I don't need to find it here)
Another reason why I going silent for a while is because I'm find myself allowing things to get to me. Either it's certain types of comments or people who complain that I won't draw their fetish the way they want it. (this goes to art I've drawn for myself, not commissions) This stuff marinades in the back of my mind and makes me want to just spout out things that just wont end well for anyone.
So I just need a break for a bit. Calm my mind, get away from all the politics, drama, etc. Get myself back in order.
I'll keep commissions open for now. However I may wait on posting them until I return.
