Like, damn. I'm a political dude. And I have my opinions about things in politics. But holy crap these constant journals that keep popping up. THese calling people out or mocking other people and their opinions in their journals...like holy crap can we not just take this to a forum site or something. I'm sick of seeing 890 journals cropping up over the same subject. It gets old and tiring.
I'd love to come home one day and just see journals of people shooting the breeze about their day or something.
I get it. We have opinions. I get it, journals are a way to express your opinions. But sometimes....don't you think that you actually just don't need to say something. Even if it's an opinion. I'm sure it isn't THAT important that you need to talk about race, gender politics, politics in general, when, not gonna lie, more than half of you here that talk about it most seem to know the least about the subtilties of any side you take or the side you're against. And just sit there and rally on a freaking porn site for furries. Like, jeez. If you have that serious of an opinion, take it to twitter or something. IB and FA really ain't for that. Because really, all it's going to do is breed echo chambers and people looking to fight, rather than breed some intelligent conversation.
Yes, an intelligent conversation will crop up from time to time in these journals, but I swear to you, those are outliers and not the norm.
Like, just stop. It's old now. This has been going on with IB to an extreme for about 2 months now or more. Tone it down a bit.
Edited to add: And yes I know that half of you make your journals in jest. I promise you, you're not helping, and you're hardly witty. All you're doing is adding fuel to the very fire that divides an already niche community as it is. And I'm sick of it.
