TMI Tuesday

It has been a while since I did this, but I've got some time to myself tonight and I figured why the hell not? Ask me questions, naughty or nice. Notes are welcome if you don't wanna post questions publicly. But don't be shy. I don't judge and I only bite my friends.

On a full moon night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
GraceTheGoldenFurred

I did that once. Then he rode away on his motorcycle with his guitar strapped across his back, and the next time I saw him was in some weird cross-dressing alien's vault!

Edit: And now that song is stuck in my head. Thanks!

On a related note, I now hate myself because "Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth" is playing on loop in my head :\

Also a good choice. Now I wanna break out all of my old albums and give them another listen.

I need a good bite and a tub soaking too...

So Question...

After hours of love making is a soaking bath preferred or a steamy shower?

Also, What scented soaps would you use?

I prefer a nice, hot bath but alas all I have is a shower, so my girl and I tend to make do as best we can. I'm not so good on the scented soap front, though. The last time we tried some, it made her break out in a hell of a rash so we've avoided them since then. We do use scented candles sometimes, though, cinnamon or vanilla for preference.

I understand about the rash,, I get them once in a blue moon with regular soap.  But the candles are a yes all over!! and good choice of scents too.

..Has to get candles..

I can imagine the "Was each other's back" scene there...

Hmmm~ would you suggest these sorts of question days for others? ^-^
I've been trying to find ideas to try and be more active around here >///<

They can be fun yeah. It kind of helps if you're a tad shameless, or can deal with the occasional inappropriate question. Mind you, most of the time people who ask me things are pretty tame but a bit of a thick skin can help. But I do think it's worth trying.

Oh no I'm well aware the risks of getting some really out there questions for sure. I've found though that things seem a lot calmer (for the most part) here and folks tend to understand boundaries, unlike FA where I've had oodles of creeper notes >w< one reason I've not uploaded nearly half of my commissions over there.

I can't really make a fair comparison because I'm far more active here than I am on FA, or any other furry site for that matter. But people here do seem to be pretty decent, for the most part, and almost everyone I've talked to has been very nice. There's the occasional jerk, but you're going to get jerks no matter where you go and it hasn't been enough to really be a bother. I'm glad this place treats you kindly, though!

You are gayyyy
My sister is too. Can you help me?
What were some of te hardest things for you to overcome when you first came out or first realized your orientation?
GraceTheGoldenFurred

On the whole, I guess I was pretty lucky. The hardest thing was coming out to my family. My mother was raised a Southern Baptist and she did her best to instill such values in me and my sis, too. So I was terrified of telling her how I really felt. But I was lucky in that she and my sister both accepted me and while I don't think they entirely understand my attraction to girls they've never given me shit about it. The pastor of Mom's church sometimes tries to get me to rejoin the flock, but if there's a scale for Baptist ministers/pastors, he's on the other end of it from the Phelps hate-mongers. So all in all, I guess the hardest part, for me, was learning how to maintain such a relationship in a small, conservative Southern town that looks down on homosexuality and how not to let it get me down. But I've been lucky to have the support of my friends and family, and my ability to not give a shit what other people think. That was maybe the hardest part, because a lot of people I went to school with, or though were my friends turned their back on me. But I found other friends instead, and I eventually learned how to not let things get to me. There are those who are going to be judgemental and mean, but if you can learn not to pay attention to them it makes things easier.

I dunno if that helps at all, but I wish your sister all the best. I do know that it helps a lot to have someone on your side, so if you support your sister and let her know that you do, that can make a huge difference.

What was the most erotic movie you have ever watched?
GraceTheGoldenFurred

Heh, I don't usually go in for erotic films. So, unless you maybe count Sigourney Weaver in her underwear at the end of Alien, probably none.

What type of wine do you prefer?  Or Beer?  Or mixed drink?

Any favorite "toy"?  Be it naughty or nice...

Favorite position to end festivities in?

Do any of your characters have any aspects that you find despicable or dislike?  I'm always curious if artists and writers are able to create something they detest, but continue to bring it to life.

Wine: I don't have any particular label I'm partial to, but Barefoot or Turning Leaf are pretty good for the prices asked. In general I prefer a nice merlot or pinot grigio, though I'm not too picky so long as it leans more toward the dry side. I can't abide sweet wines.

Beer: I don't really like beer. I might drink a bottle or two of Corona or Dos Equis at a restaurant, but that's about it.

Mixed drinks: I'm not a fan. I tend to prefer to drink liquor neat, to be honest. Partly for taste and partly because it's easier to judge how much you've had to drink that way. Diluting it tends to let you drink far more than you intend to before you realize it.

Toys: I don't really own any, so I can't comment.

Positions: Usually cuddling. Cuddling is always a good way to end things.

Characters: That's a good question, and one I've been thinking about lately as I've tried to develop my characters to be a bit more well rounded. I guess the best example, so far, would be Grace who can be a little bit sexist at times. She's not the supremacist sort who would see all males dead or oppressed, but she was raised to think of females as inherently superior and males only useful for their part in helping to secure your heirs for the future. She has mostly outgrown this. Death and resurrection, not to mention years spent as a wanderer have given her a new perspective on a lot of things. But she still sometimes has trouble trusting males, and remembering that they're every bit as competent as she is. I've always been hesitant to show too much of that, for fear people will think that it's something I espouse rather an a character flaw, but it might show more clearly if I ever manage to get some stories written for her.

I do think it's important to be able to write characters who you disagree with or even despise. And not just as antagonists either. The most interesting characters are often the most flawed ones, and there has to be some way a character can grow and develop in the course of a story. It can be tough, and you have to be careful not to turn them into a caricature, but it's definitely possible and sometimes even kind of fun to challenge yourself that way.
