All good/No power

by
Where i was didn't get hit as bad. Only branches and some uprooted trees.Last year hurricane Matthew cleared alot of the problem trees lol.

But safe and sound.
No power though and if my power company is correct i may not have any until the weekend 😰
I'll let you guys know when it gets back on.

Good to hear that things are okay. The power loss sucks, but at least it's just power.

It sucks about the power, but I'm glad to hear you're okay and that things weren't too bad where you are! Fingers crossed you get power sooner than this weekend, and thanks for the update!

Sorry to hear, but like the others said at least everyone is okay. A lot of our friends are in the same boat atm. Amazingly we somehow managed to keep water and electric on at our place.

Good to hear that your place is ok.  My parents in Jax cant go home yet since their area is flooded out.  The water level luckily didn't go into his house though.  And looking at some of the pictures of FL I'd say we should feel lucky nothing worse happened.

I know the feeling, been a ridiculous amount of violent storms around here the last decade despite not so close to the ocean, mostly derechos, downbursts, bowfronts, occasional f0-f2 tornadoes. Though occasionally those hurricanes do hold together long enough to bring those too. So been through the roads full of mangled power poles, trees & debris thing.
Sorta why I suggested trying to find a small generator.
When power is out awhile I tended to need to resort to using car power/car batteries & power inverters, but inverters usually can't handle running things like air conditioners or fridges unless heavy duty types.
And not a good idea for people to run generators or cars inside even a garage though.

I can relate.  I'm stuck 70 miles away from home and I've just got word that it may be more than another seven days before we get ours back.
