the weather

by
I just read this: http://12most.com/2012/01/06/12-tornadic-ways-weather-...

And I couldn't agree more.  It's barely gotten over 40 degrees here in the past month.  Total suck...
I talk to my friends from California and Texas and they say they just got back from jogging and it's sooo hot outside or how "miserable" it is when it rains outside...LOL! Meanwhile, I run a gas heater in this tiny place just to keep it around 80 degrees. And before you think that feels hot, there's like no humidity here, so the ability of the air to actually hold heat is pretty shitty.  The temp can go from 60 to 40 in about an hour or so when the sun goes down.

ATM, I considering investing all my money in a laptop and getting a bus ticket to somewhere that's not a cold death trap.

I'm wearing a t-shirt as I write this from Far West Texas. Working outdoors during the day, I break a good sweat, and I'm not out of shape either. We are high and dry with not a cloud in the sky.
All this, on the second week of February.
Feels bad, man.

I live in Colorado. We had about a foot of snow laying around that I had to shovel around the edges of the building where I live. The sky is overcast and grey. The sun looks like a blurry light bulb through the clouds. There's mud and snow everywhere, along with dead grass. Since I don't live in a town or a city, to get anywhere is a 20 minute drive.

I wish winter didn't exist here...seriously. I'm quite happy with a sunny day, being able to take a long walk or jog outside. Not having the muscles in my body clench up every time I step out the door. Sweating is way better than shivering. When shivering, it's like I can barely control my body, holding a cup of coffee would be dangerous. With sweating, at least I don't feel like I'm having a seizure every 5 minutes lol.  My muscle would feel nice and warm and relaxed. Exercise wouldn't feel like a fight against death XD

We'd be more than happy to take some--if not all-- that wet off your hands. Far West Texas has practically dried up and blown away this past year. Most areas had no spring season. It's not pretty down here at all.
A perverse consolation might be acquired, to know that the more snow Colorado gets, the more water goes into the Rio Grande. And brother, do we need it!

You could try a homemade air humidifier to keep the temp up a bit more in your place.
Watch this ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyEmJINcfLA ), maybe it helps...

AAAwwww yeah... the climate and the temperature can be sometime a burden like we say... Must admit it's the same for me when snow install itself around the place.... I'm more like ''sunny beach bare butt well cook'' bear... Crap why did Jacques-Cartier had to discover Canada and create Québec in the far north... He couldn't I dunno go a li'l down south... like Florida or Texas... But noooooooo... discoverers... True that sometime it affect the mood of a person

And... was also thinking... the electricity run in your place right ?

...That article is complete bullshit, by the way.  She's a corporate speaker; not a neurobiologist.  I'd contest each and every point, but the sun just went down, so I can't be assed.  ;-)

Just my thoughts. Her article looks like she took a New Age essay on moon phases, zodiac signs, and the stars, and replaced everything with "weather".

Yeah, pretty much.  Conveniently, it's "twelve" things, too.  ...Then again, there are 13 zodiacs, and no nutbar astrologist wants to admit that.  XD

Indiana here.
Its been sunny-ish and around the 30's and 40's,  which is pretty warm for us this time of the year.
40's is usually t-shirt and jeans weather for me,  as long as I can stay out of the wind.
I think i've had to shovel maby once..  but the rest of it has just been rain and this godawful freezing fog thats feels like you're walking through one of those misting things at a grocery store while someone rubs ice cube on the back of your neck.

Its been strange...  but I don't really want to jinx it.
This time last year we had 4-5 feet of snow and 3-4 inches of ice covering everything.   It was late April going into May,  and we still had 4 ft snow drifts and chunks of ice everywhere last year.
...I feel like i'm the only guy in this frigging place who remembers that.

Its Indiana though.   The weather can go from 60 degrees in the afternoon to the lower 20's at night on a regular basis.  Not even exagerrating   xD   Its happened 3-4 times the past couple weeks.

The saying around here is  "If you don't like the weather... just wait 5 minutes.  It'll change."

You could come over to Canada, no snow this winter...I'm pretty sure it's a sign of the apocalypse.
