Not again...

Again today failed my pc, this time... not sure what is it. I was playing a videogame when suddenly my screen put in black. I thought "is too very epic for my pc", I restarted, appear normal but after maybe 20-30 seconds after to start windows, appear again the black screen and nothing respond.

Is the videocard having a problem now? or is again the hard disk? I´m not sure but is not fair, I was resting of draw and now this thing...

This year is going so bad.  :(

Any idea what do you think is happening? if the problem persist I´m going to send again my pc for repair but now my problem is I haven´t money, I still without recover the crisis I passed the last week and now this.

Now I´ll need a backup of my recent pictures of that one and put in my old one, work again there and... crap! I´m sad again.

Check your temps.

And try a can of air to blow the dust out.

It has two giant fans, my pc is literally a gamer pc, and today is so cold.

But I´ll wait a little for see if the pc is overheated...

La temperatura externa y el numero de ventiladores no importa si la pasta termica esta hecha polvo o los heatsinks estan llenos de polvo y mugre.

Cuando dices que la pantalla se pone negra. Se congela o se apaga la computadora?

porque si se apaga, es posible que lo que se esta muriendo y dañando tus componentes.. va a ser la fuente de poder.

Es nueva en todo y la tengo en un lugar libre de polvo, apenas tengo con ella unos 2 meses, es mas, la he estado cuidando tanto que la tengo desconectada del internet.  :v

Pienso que es la tarjeta de video o algo en la configuración, he entrado a modo seguro y hasta ahora no he tenido problemas. Estoy haciendo mis respaldos para llevarla a que la chequen.

Entra al panel de registros (event log) y revisa los logs de sistema.
ahi debe de aparecer si hay algun software que te tira error.
Lo mas probable es que sea que los drivers de tu tarjeta de video estan mal instalados.
Pasa mas de lo normal con Nvidia y AMD/ATI.

Is your montor keep going out. It might do to Heat build up. I think best way to shut the computer down and let it rest when you not using it.

Ok, I will wait and see if is overheated, but is weird, normally I work all the day and never happened before.

Maybe Rome 2 total war is not for me.  :v

Que feo, ojalá pudiera ayudarte.
Si la pantalla solo se puso en negro y la computadora aún trabaja, podría ser el monitor.
Si la pantalla se puso negra y ya no funciona nada pero sigue prendida, podría ser la tarjeta de video.
Si la pantalla se puso negra y la pc se apagó, podría ser sobrecalentamiento y se apagó como medida de seguridad o de plano algo se quemó (si es que huele a quemado)

Pienso que es la tarjeta de video porque no se apaga el pc, sigue prendido pero no responde nada.

Voy a seguir probando...

Black screen sounds like it's directly related to the video card.  They tend to get insanely hot, like my gtx480 can get up to 200 degrees F or 105C. If your motherboard has any onboard video, maybe try pulling out your video card and using that instead.  Try using a temperature monitor to see if it's really over heating:

Now I am not sure what is it. Maybe something is wrong, the black screen appear after 30 seconds, but then maybe after 5 seconds it restart the system, I don´t know if is the videocar because it was off around 2 hours.

However, the recovery toolset and those things works normally, maybe is again the hard disk or something like is damaged, not sure what is it... I am starting to hate windows 10...  :/

I think I found the problem: a strange high level of energy deconfigured the star up of the pc. I suspect the the solar storm we had today damaged my pc.

I did some changes as return the config as default and looks like is ok. Something weird happened but I will keep watching it, right now I don´t trust on it.

Si se pierden las configuraciones de windows es posible falla del disco duro, windows se podría haber reparado (o tu haberlo reparado) pero podría sucederte de nuevo que se pierda la configuración (depende si los sectores del disco duro estén perdiendose de poco a poco (aunque también a veces el disco duro da pista de que está fallando si suena mucho, pero solo con discos duros mecánicos)
Si el BIOS pierde la hora (y quizá configuraciones) entonces podría ser que se esté acabando la pila del la motherboard.

Creo que la tarjeta madre anda bien, la hora no se desconfiguró, pero espero no sea el caso porque toda la maquina es nueva, todo lo compré nuevo, sería el colmo que falle todo y siendo nuevo...  bueno se ha visto casos... :/

Pienso que fue una subida de voltaje o algo así y me desconfiguró el arranque, al menos he notado que cuando hay tormentas solares fallan feo los aparatos, pero no puedo estar monitoreando el sol en helioviewer o sitios parecidos todo el día.  :v

No se qué pasó, pero ya estoy haciendo respaldos de mis dibujos (otra vez) por si vuelve a fallar.

No sé si ya tienes pero sería bueno que tu PC esté conectada a un regulador de corriente.

Maybe will be the video card, but I am not sure because the pc restart after the 30 seconds and the black screen.

Honestly my bet would be the video hardware. The PC is likely to restart itself if it fails to reset the video card after a timeout period.  If it's Windows you could check its troubleshooting/maintenance system and use the "check for solutions to problems" option to see if anything is there.

I suspect is the videocard too, I am in safe mode and I am not having any problem for now. I am preparing backups of all my stuff.

Remove the video card and connect your monitor to the video card port that your motherboard have and see if you still have the same problem.

Indeed I changed the monitor but the problem still. However I enter in safe mode and is working. I am preparing backups, I suspect is the video card or something in the config of the pc.

Have you try to run it without the video card and use the one with the motherboard?

Not yet, but I think is the videocard, I was doing other experiments and the pc crash with the black screen.

In the next days I´m going to send it with a friend for take a look. For now I´m going to draw in my old pc again.

Si cuando mueves el cursor o cuando ves que el puntero tiene el icono circular de carga, cualquiera de los dos se medio congela frecuentemente es disco duro.

Va a ser la tarjeta de video o algo en la configuración de la pc, he entrado en modo seguro y no me ha fallado. Estoy moviendo mis cosas como respaldos a otro lugar.

Revisa las temperaturas de cada dispositivo puede que sea eso.

True, haha! But you can take it with you anywhere, all you'd need is your tablet and a keyboard.....and one of those newer LCD TVs :P Ah, heck who am I kidding?  The TC4400 is a way better deal. Here's one for $40. Or you could get this super rugged crazy pen tablet for $40 :P According to www.america-ship.com, it would cost $24 to ship there.
