SSI appointment in two weeks

I'm nervous about this. Been rejected five times in New York, even with a fair hearing that was anything but. I'll bring my copy of the doctor's recent decision concerning my diagnosis.

I'm aware the more paperwork I bring to back me up, the better the result may be. But I'm not sure....

I wish you the best of luck, Allan. SSI can be really hectic, I know.

Just keep on trying Al. -hugs- You got an irrefutable piece of documentation from your new Philly doctor, and that should be good enough to get you what you need.  If not, then you'll have to find a real good shark (pro bono of course) who can tell them to pony up the cash.  A'ight? :)

PA can be pricks when it comes to SSI.  Sometimes it seems like they'll reject the first couple of applications just to see if you're serious.  Might end up having to get a lawyer, but it shouldn't be difficult to find one that will work for a percentage of your back payments (figured from when you dropped your first application)

Worst case scenario, I may end up hiring a pro bono lawyer as
