Hey sweetlings!

Seems like we're gonna have a visit from Irma and we might be away for a while after the weekend. If our equipment or apartment gets destroyed even longer.

Soo just a heads up. Gonna clear all the work i can till then n try to stay in one piece.

It's extremely hard to pinpoint where Irma is exactly going, because the projected path keeps shifting west by each update. Although where I live is in the extreme western part of the path, anything can in fact happen, Florida my just get clipped and it hits the northern Gulf Coast, or even worse, hit Texas. Or it might just shift east and miss the US completely.

Like 2012 for an example, Issac was first originally projected to make a U-turn in the Atlantic, then threaten the East Coast of the US, then threaten Florida, but it end up heading over to my homestate of Louisiana, and the weather setup was very similar to today.

Like I said, it's really hard telling where this thing goes, and what it will exactly do, but either way, if it does head your way, hope you and your love stay safe.

I dunno if you have to worry about flooding like we did with Harvey, but it may be worth finding a multistory parking garage and putting your vehicle on an upper story. It saved our car. Hope you come through ok.

I work for a place that shares a parking garage with a hotel, they were kind enough to let us use it for free. I would maybe look for a one time fee parking garage, it cuts down on foot traffic to lessen the chance of thieves. That will help keep the expense down, though it will be less than having to replace a flooded car.

Evac if possible. This is serious enough that even as far north as Jacksonville the FDOT just suspended all road works that would result in lane closure to facilitate evacuations. If you don't evac, get your 7-day survival kit NOW. Run through all you use in 1 week & have it ready with no utilities available.

Pensacola checking in:
This one is gonna be rough. Do what it takes to stay safe. I may not be in the crosshairs (yet) but I've got a plan to send the wife and dog further inland while I ride out the mayhem in the hallway to be here when the looting begins. I spent too much time and money on my video game and sword collections to let some jerk with a pickup truck and no morals scavenge my property.

Huh... Floridians are all crazy...
