Hey, guys. I'm back.
Anyways, I finally got my hands on a Nintendo Switch. And I pre-ordered Sonic Mania. So far, I'm loving the game. But seriously, f*ck those Special Stages. They are straight sadistic. It's like playing a claw machine!
My problem with the Special Stages is the steering and collision.
It would've great if the L/R buttons offered some sort of help to steering. Even before you gain mach speeds in the stages, it's difficult to aim the direction you want to go once you see multiple items you want to collect.
Blue Spheres and Rings get harder to collect. Rather it's from bombs and spikes being placed right next to them or because you didn't time your jump just right. I don't want to be "precise", I wanna have fun!
I wish I could get some expert to play the Special Stages for me. Or there being some cheat for Chaos Emeralds (in normal play through).
Either than that, I'm loving the game. And when not playing the Special Stages, I'm actually having fun. When playing a level, I feel like it's my own fault when I take damage. And the Boss Battles are really creative!
Anyways, I am still hyped for this game. So, I am willing to order Classic Sonic NSFW commissions. Anyone who can draw Classic Sonic and especially the Sonic Mania art style are welcome!
Edit: I managed to get all 7 Chaos Emeralds and unlock Super Sonic. But he's kind of a double edged sword...
