75% of the move has been completed. There's more to get done this weekend. Mostly moving smaller stuff.
But today, I got back to the internet to find that FA has gone apeshit.
First Zaush and Hal seem to have had a falling out on the level of which Hal was told NEVER to draw Citras again. Nice going there Zaush.
Second, the AUP policy to FA has been changed *AGAIN*. It seems to be something that happens about every 6 months. This time, apparently an advertiser pulled out because they didn't want to be seen supporting "cubporn." As a resuly, a good number of artists seem to be pulling out of FA and moving to less restrictive venues.
Seems like Inkbunny will be more popular since it's going independent of the advertiser, AlertPay. My Inkbunny account will ve coming in handy for art and maintaining contact with the exodus of artists leaving FA.
So, what are my thoughts?
Well, if you looked down here, you must be curious.
Personally, FA can do what they like. I mean, it's a private entity and an advertiser dropped them.threatened to drop them for content. Financially, dropping the content is the best thing to do. However, I don't agree with it. There are plenty of other advertisers out there... but how would I know? I ad-blocked every ad on FA. AUP change is the easiest way to get back revenue.
It's the cowardly way to get back the money, but I'm sure the admin would go down on every FA user if they could get $5 from each person for each happy ending.
