I was able to secure the evening shift at the Kalahari Resort. So pretty much after he handles the opening-afternoon shift, I'll be taking over for afternoon-closing shift. We both pretty much have the same days off so that we can actually relax together. It's going to be cool to actually work at an amusement/arcade area.
However, one can't always have everything in their favor, which is pretty much the story of my life. Even though I've landed the job and my orientation is this Friday, it seems that it conflicts with those that actually helped us get jobs. Personally I'm disappointed on how they reacted when I've mentioned the situation and the importance of that shift. Instead of cheers all around that everyone having jobs and pitching in, they're ass-hurt worried about when I'm getting my license back and times when I have to be picked up and whatnot. (Sorry for becoming a burden out of the blue)
It's quite alright though. After everything gets discussed and in order, all they have to do is be patient for two months. After that, everything will be right back to the ways things were. Having said that, this will mean sacrificing going to FCN this year. But I will make an attempt to make AC however. Cooler and more awesome than it was last year. Believe me guys, I'll will be in full effect soon. Just wait a little while longer.
