This might very well be my first journal here

Wow, I think that this is the most active I've been on IB. I'm really enjoying it. I just wish that I could get more one on one real time with users instead of juggling submissions and notices.

Leave it to SF going down for upgrades to make me more active on other sites. ^^;

I've been here for over two years. Since IB opened. ^^;;; I feel so bad that I haven't used IB. I was originally intending to use it as a clean art account. Well we can see that didn't work out! Haha! XD

It's a good place for all kinds of clean & naughty furry works-- I don't regret the move to IB 14 months ago at all-- As a writer, I've had my most productive year ever. :) The one nice thing I can say about SF being down (I have an account there, but have yet to use it- IB is my home :) ) is the cute squirrel hanging off the big pink switch. :) I'm...a bit obsessed with squirrels... ;)

See for me it's the opposite SF is my home and I hardly use IB. I need SF to go back up so that I can post my recent stuff there. I've gone nuts with drawing at least once a day.

*nodnod* We all have our preferred comfort zones. :) Did you give SF's beta a try, before they went down for the upgrade?

I did! I love the new interface. I was surprised that there weren't more people using it.

I was only using the beta, myself- Far less cluttered. PLUS ePub downloads for stories... :)

I never paid attention to the story's section until I started on Blood and Shadow.

I need to learn how to write better. I have such elaborate ideas for my story, but my disabilities keep me from getting them down.

I'm partially blind. I just simply write. :) My biggest problem in writing is handling quotes- I'm decent at it, now- but what I had to do was read others' writings and pick up techniques (not ideas) as I went along... (I've had plenty of ideas, myself- Most never get written, either due to depression, lack of time, or lack of access to something to write with. Sometimes even bad headaches get in the way. :P

This past year alone, I've written 8 stories. Matches the total output I had for the 20 years previous, though. IB's been good to me, since I left FA. :) (Officially, that is-- Unofficially, I still lurk, so yes, my account is still there, semi-active.)

Depression, migraines, adult ADD/ADHD, dyslexia: all take their toll on me any given day of the week. I'll sit staring at the tail end of my story for hours wanting to write something, I just don't know where to go. Eventually I just close program and draw.

Yeah, I just use FA to post my work. I stay away from the user base. They are just vicious. SF and IB are much nicer sites to use.

I average about 4 hours per short story, usually in one sitting. "Marta's Song", my most recent, actually took two, and is probably my longest story to date! Sometimes, getting in a rest now and then helps. :)

*nod* I left FA because of the visceral atmosphere, yes-- Bans do not make for a conducive atmosphere. :P It isn't perfect, here, but it is still growing.
