Basically, I had two jobs for painting canceled on me....and because of art block I haven't gotten very far in my commissions. This wouldn't be a big deal but.....
I'm being double charged for an electric bill.
Basically the previous tenant put in an order to cancel service at my location, and the electric company being morons DID NOT CHECK MY ADDRESS to see if I already had service at this address. When they found out much later, they canceled the order to cut off service so i never did lose power. This took them 2 months to straighten out and did not bill me either month, I had to call and find out what's going on.
My apartment management says they got billed for the power being on those 2 months I wasn't charged and added that to my rent (which I have paid for ) But the Electric company says they have no proof of my bills being paid for and are asking for it to be paid in full.
I'm trying to work this out with the apartment management but they are going in circles about what I should do. They say pay the bill, but they also say they already paid so I shouldn't be paying for it.
This is about 195 dollars I don't have...and i still have to pay for my car insurance which is almost the same amount.
These bills are due on the same day.... which is 5 days from now. I don't have enough to pay for either.
I don't want to ask this but...if anyone could, if willing, pay for their commission up front so I don't lose insurance of the power in my house????
If anyone is willing to help please I would very much appreciate it. You don't HAVE TO HELP you are in no way obligated to me, but if you are willing i'd be very grateful...
