Won't be drawing for a while

Sadly last night I was going to draw and all of a sudden my tablet fell right off the cable and its not working anymore. I had this tablet for 2-4 years now and its sad seeing something you worked hard for suddenly break. I was working with my godfather and his pays were horrible that I got paid $150 each week and 2 weeks for $250 (yeah doesn't make sense) and with little money I had I bought the tablet. I'll probably be working extra to buy a new one or something.

Ouch, what tablet was it and what do you mean by "fell on the cable"?
Dropped and just remained in the air by the cable?
If it looks like it has no power anymore and nothing is cracked, it is well possible that it can be repaired fairly easily!
Not knowing anyone with some basic knowledge in electronics or at least owns a soldering iron?

he snagged on the cable and his tablet landed hard on the floor. ;(

doesnt even work after a replacement cable test.

Ahhh okey.
Hm, opening it to see whether an issue is visible would still make sense, but that one of the layers cracked is quite likely x.x
Bumpercases for art tablets would be an idea xD

EDIT:
If it's just the usb port like Bitterjackal suggests, then that can be fixed easily too!

Have you tried a different cable bud? sometimes the only issue is the cable, hopefully you can get it fixed or a new one for a decent price

There are ways of fixing something like that, SOMETIMES. What model tablet? how did the cable break? Can you buy a wireless dongle for it? Do some reading online or post some more info about how it broke and someone here might be able to talk you through a fix.

it is an intuos 5, after a replacement cable test, it was the tablet that is the issue. :<

like he snagged on the cable and it landed on the floor super hard.

Intuos 5 have shit mini-usb ports, woefully bad design. I have one, mine fell and died in the same way. The USB port inside the tablet actually peels away from the circuit board. If you google it you'll see complaints all over the place. The fix is to get a universal cell phone battery charger to charge the Intuos 5 battery, and then just use the wireless option from that point on. I work that way now. The chargers are only about $10 and if he doesn't have the wireless setup kit for that tablet it's only about $40 from the wacom store. Much cheaper than buying a new tablet. Wacom will charge about $200 to replace the entire motherboard. Not happy with Wacom after this...

Hmm, then again if that is the issue, that can be fixed without much experience with a soldering iron.
I personally did that on my hellish old mp3 player.

It's five little mini-usb pins plus re-seating the port to the board. If you've got a steady hand and a tiny tip for your soldering iron, then yes you could! I only have one of those things, so I had to go with plan B. :P

Hmm, not sure how it's attached exactly on the board. On the mp3 player I used a small clamp to pin the port onto the board, then soldered very carefully and sealed the end result in glue.

Is there any way we can help you get some cash to get another one?
If the model comes with a detachable cable, you might want to look into that first.

What tablet was it?

That is unfortunate. But, if you got smart phone and stylus you could probably find a work around to at least do something until you can replace it. Probably wouldn't be able to stream like that, but at least you wouldn't have to stop drawing.

start a gofundme and link it; i don't check ib very often so feel free to message me directly when you do as well; i can't afford to replace the whole thing, but i can chip in, and i'm certain others are willing as well.
