Barely been able to draw because of life problems and my hands being awful. Also been chasing a bit of depression that has been making me isolate myself A LOT lately. My hands have been so bad until recently even gaming was a bit of a problem. That said, I have recently decided to try pushing ahead on a big writing project on my own. I have tried to find partners in the past to lighten the load a bit, but am going to move ahead on my own.
I like to develop entire worlds. It is something I am good at. It is something I have helped a few comic authors do because of how meticulous I can be. The weight of it all can be a bit much when a world like what I plan to delve into is being recreated. I sometimes need a perspective completely outside my own head-space to keep me grounded.
The project will be a fanfic, but it is intended to really just help me stretch my legs a bit on that skill set. I have not seriously written anything in at least a couple of years, though I think it's more up on almost a decade now.
I can answer questions about the setting in private messages, but will not do so right now in journals. I will say that I do plan to illustrate a bit on my own, because the subject is something I have not drawn much of, despite being a fan, and know that drawing new things pushes an artist to grow.
I know there probably are not many people still looking my way, but I hope folks will look when I decide to share more details and content in the future.
To those reading this, thank you for sticking around.
...
Actually... I will say one thing about the topic of the story ahead. The words "empyreal umbra" are involved.
