Both are things I called, but I'm definitely proud that Angela Ahrendts ended up deciding to redesign Apple stores along the same design philosophy I picked for the Bodyshoppe. I'm confident that if they had big-box-mart levels of room to work with in malls, they'd be doing essentially what I'd do in the circumstance - adding both seclusion and exhibition and food (Ikea wants to open standalone restaurants - "We’ve always called the meatballs ‘the best sofa-seller,'" according to Gerd Diewald - "Because it’s hard to do business with hungry customers.") They're adding computerclasses - up to and including "how to write Swift code" - and personal coaches, which are analogous to some of the stuff I've suggested - though they've yet to try to position themselves as an advocate or venue for community organizing, which … I expect to happen by the end of the first Trump term, at this rate.
