Guess it's time to join the official migration

With everything that's going on at FA, and all the artists leaving it for inkbunny / splitting their work between FA and Inkbunny. I figured it was time for me to finally settle in here.

I only had one 'cub' submission, and I've already replaced it with a placeholder there.  I'll probably start migrating my meager and pitiful artwork here in a few days/weeks. (Lots of RL issues to deal with during the holiday season.)

More the merrier! I think it's good to have alternatives around.

Well don't go being too rough on yourself. I had but 2 cub sketches for a project I was working on that was going to be a commission, and now I've made a page over here too.

Thank you for watching me. ^_^ Do I know you over on FA? Did you go by the same screen name?

Over on FA I go by 'bavarian,' and I'm not bummed, I'm just 'settling in' here after having an open but inactive account for so long.

I'm still staying on FA, too many artist I'm following over there who are sticking around.

Oh, the cub pic (which I'll be posting here after I know the 'migration floods' are over) is a pencil rough of Minnie Shoof as a preteen  using hir own body for a 'show and tell' presentation at class, letting everyone see the long 'nethertrunk' coiled like a rope in front of hir.  It was a sketch done during a break at work, I don't censor myself when drawing, when I start doing that I start start putting off drawing entirely.

I plan to still stick around on FA, but as I've tried to not put too many limits on my art (I've drawn 2 cub sketches before) I was mainly upset by 2 things with FA. The censorship (though I've since come to terms that it was mainly due to AlertPay and their donations to keep the site running) as well as the hate flak a few artists friends of mine got there and were pretty much "shunned" to move off of FA and come here (the main target being Norithics)

Agreed. You start censoring too much then you block off the creative juices in one's mind.

Yeah, I did notice a bit more 'Dramatastic' gloating from the anti-cub members of FA, even more Drama than the hate-fests from the earlier ruling on the issue to keep cub art around.

There have been quite a few artists who have been singled out my name by the admin posts, which is a little unprofessional. (Well, more than a little, by a lot.)  It's one thing to describe a a certain art content that is no longer allowed, it's quite another to say, "Now that we're banning 'X' art, we won't be seeing any more of misters Q, R, and S."

Betawolf is used to it to an extent, Paige too I guess for the sake of cub, but others, not so much. Norithics? He's done plenty non-cub, and yet he got called out?

*sigh* And some now are gone from FA for good, which means some of us have to either follow them away from FA, stick to FA and forever say goodbye to those talents, or split our attentions between multiple sites.

Well, if the rumor mill is accurate and Inkbunnyis setting itself up as its own PayPal equivalent, perhaps they'll be able to branch out and be the furry Paypal for sites that are being shunned by the major PayPal companies.

I've been hearing that too. That they plan to say "Screw you" to AlertPay and refuse to censor their site just cause they demand it.

I'd support them if only for standing up against censorship.
