Okay, so this one's been bugging me for awhile, and I'm not sure how to word it, but I'm going to try. It's been making me feel weird, and I think I just need other people's input.
I don't have a strong attachment to my gender. It's not part of my identity. Yes, I call myself male; but that's because I am, factually, male- I have a dick. If I were to wake up tomorrow with a cunt and a pair of tits, I wouldn't care. I would be surprised and confused, sure, and curious as fuck how it happened, but it wouldn't have any bearing on who I am. I am me, and my gender doesn't affect that- it is, in fact, entirely irrelevant except in reproduction and medicine, as far as I'm concerned. The same goes for anyone else's gender, too.
My point being, I've noticed that a lot of people around me do have strong attachments to their gender and that it is a part of who they are. Does it make me weird that I don't?
