Finally the wait is going to an end, this game may retain or completely break my hopes for Sonic Team to make good Sonic games again, I may be in the minority but in the recent years I been feeling that Dimps' attempts at making Sonic games has been (for the most part) the better attempts, I just don't think current Sonic Team has it anymore but I'd be glad proven wrong.
I never really asked for him in the first place but I did enjoy his gameplay over boost-Sonic in Generations, I just feel "mute Sonic" will ruin our chance of a decent plot.

I'm sorry for ranting I just can't seem to get as excited for this as I want to but it doesn't look nearly as bad as I make it seem to be... Now Mania on the other hand I still can't get all the hype, it's just another fan game.

I'm the opposite here, if we're taking 4kids here, my most hated VA was Amy's and I cannot say how relieved I am they changed her before I went insane, ruining my most beloved Sonic chick, there was a time I questioned why I still did Amy stuffs around late 2000s because I could no longer find her sexy because of her VA.
I also didn't like Rouge and Shadow's VAs by 4kids, the rest are fine by me, but the current VAs are perfectly fine by me either, no complaints here, and they did last longer than any others (7 years on opposed to 5 years for both previous ones) plus they appeared in more media, next to Sonic Boom Roger also did Sonic in Wreck-It Ralph.

I just hope they put a lot of new stuff in it so it won't feel just like Sonic Generations with new levels, this game has more than 2 years in development, at least I hope they have recamped the formula with more mechanics, depth and 3D exploration, or at least with more playable characters.

I just hope they fixed the controls, seriously Sonic's controls feel so unnatural in those games you struggle to turn or jump and the acceleration is through the roof, it feels more like a car racer and less like a platformer.

Couldn't agree more with the racer part, I hope they bring more 3D exploration like in the Sonic Adventure games were the stages had much more depth and branching paths.

I'm glad someone else agrees with me, Sonic Rush was great, so was Rush Adventure, (also I feel that Dimps versions of Unleashed, Colors, and especially Lost World felt better imo, not much Generations but it was still decent) but I feel when Sonic Team borrowed the boost gameplay and applied it to home consoles they broke it, it's now shallow boost in corridor-like hallways, homing attack chains, quick-time events and quick step, and if you fuck up you die, no room for error here, it's just boring, also the stomp, was that really necessary? Idk when I think Sonic Generations all I think is "beeb, pop! beeb, pop! quick step, beeb, pop! boost here, QTE, missed a ramp, ahhhh!" it's awful, I hope to God it's not Generations 2.
