Computer over. Virus=Very Yes! That is not a good prize!!!

Yeah, my comp got hit with the mother of all viruses last night. The weird thing is that I didn't go to any weird websites or download anything new. I lost all my new games, but nothing more than that, I think. I should have backups of all my stories, so it's not as big a deal as it should be. We're doing a full restore, and we'll be back in business tonight...

More news later tonight once my comp is back.

I blame those no-good Digimons - I bet they invited the virus in.

Hm.  Did you download any Microsoft Anti-Malware things lately?  I saw another person had got a virus from such a thing.
It also was demanding money or something.  Anyway, my trusted choice for computer cleanup issues is Spybot Search and Destroy.
It has very frequent updates, and searches for (as far as I know) every type of infection your computer could get.  It also has a ton of neat features(such as the ability to turn off things that start up when your computer starts up, or add them).

Truth be told, I don't have any anti-virus programs such as AVG, but I haven't had a single virus on any computer I've had since I started using Spybot S&D.  It helps that I'm mildly paranoid about what I download, and use NoScript for Firefox, but I'm able to protect my computers well enough now.  Though I have had Tracking Cookies, but Spybot S&D can remove them with ease.
