Yesterday at around noon, while in my home in my room I suffered a grand mal seizure. During this, I fell right into the corner of my desk with such force that I put two breaks in my collarbone on the left side. However, despite the immense pain it wasn't as bad as it would be on account of being on painkillers already, so I assumed I'd just bruised the bone or something and I'd fallen unconscious from sleep deprivation.
Then I had a second grand mal seizure at 5-6PM.
This one was apparently your typical hollywood-looking seizure according to my mother and brother; I was jerking and twitching and my eyes were rolled into the back of my head. To round it out, I was clenching my gut muscles SO fucking hard I stopped breathing properly. I began foaming at the mouth, turned pale, then blue. Paramedics rushed onto the scene thanks to my Mom, and my heart didn't stop or anything so I improved when I was given oxygen.
In the Ambulance however, I regained semi-consciousness and was as distressed as I was nauseous, and began fighting with the Paramedics while yelling "I'm gonna vomit, I'm gonna vomit...!" until they gave me a container to throw up in, then lost consciousness again. I woke up in the ER with much greater self-control, and underwent various blood tests and the like. That's where they found out I fractured my clavicle and it turns out one of my medications(Ultram/Tramadol) was the cause of my seizures in the first place.
So now it's the next day. My collarbone/shoulder area is swollen up to the size of a football, and my seizures were so powerful I pulled most of the muscles in my body and overworked them, so moving is painful, standing is painful, it's like pain layered on pain and bluhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
But I'm alive, at least. Sorry, maybe next time.
