You know, I wasn't gonna do it... but because you're the first person to follow me here, I will put Lia into the me time series. No promises she'll ever appear again after that though, cos I have no clue where she fits into anything xD

I promised poetry, and here I have some poetry!!  Let it be said that every extreme now and again I can live up to my words!

A Smile

A Smile costs nothing but gives much.

It takes but a moment,
but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.

It cannot be bought,
begged, borrowed, or stolen,
for it is something
that is of no value to anyone
until it is given away.

Some people are too tired to give you a smile.
Give them one of yours,
as none needs a smile as much
as he who has no more to give.

Yeah, that last bit doesn't really apply, but if I left it out, I feel like I'd be butchering the poem, and I just couldn't bring myself to do that.  And since I've been gushy, I shall leave you with something a little funnier (hopefully), because God knows I can't be utterlyserious in any endeavor I take!

You must be sick of seeing me
All this time--five days a week.
I'll just cut to the chase and say
thanks for everything, Teach! . . . . erm, Eddie!  (rhyme fail)
