But essentially, I know way too many people who will really be hurt (life-threateningly) if the ACA is pulled, or if it's not at least replaced with SOMETHING offering similar assistance. So, if you've ever had similar concerns, now would be the time to get on the horn with your representative about it.
Also, just a comment I'd like to add to the subject: if you want to make an even bigger impact than a call or an email, print that email out, hand-sign and address it, and snail-mail it to your rep as well. This has been suggested as a Good Idea by a certain someone I know who works a government job, and has known and worked alongside politicians. Apparently, they respond well to the extra effort.
If you ask me, a concept like ACA should not only exist because there are poor people in the country or people who have to deal with that, if that's what you implied... It should exist just for common sense. The USA is a wealthy nation and has brought it so far; yet people cannot even be sure that they will such a basic thing like medical attention when needed? So many other countries have proven that this concept works...
EDIT: Oh lol, just noticed that you are German too. Maybe I shot too fast xD
