The last guy gives you a quest that reveals his true origins... if you do the quest, then he kind of stands there, waiting for you to kill him... which starts the Dark Brotherhood questline next time your character sleeps, 'cuz it counts as murder.. sort of... yeah, I'm a nerd...

Let me explain better. If you talk to the Grand Champion he'll ask you to go to a fort that contains proof of his heritage, a book to be exact, which as it turns out, reveals that he's the son of a vampire. IF you do this, he'll be so distraught that when you fight him in the Arena he won't fight back at first. If I remember correctly he does eventually fight back if you wait long enough (or cast a Frenzy spell on him), but killing him when he doesn't will count as a murder and start the Dark Brotherhood questline the next time you sleep.
