So I just got my oculus touch today. And I have been playing The Unspoken. I think this is the first time I have felt like I had superpowers. I mean we now have VR games with PvP and it's really gonna set the the tone for Esports down the road, take a look at the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVD1O853aSw
I'm surprised they haven't done it yet, but whoever makes Doom or some of the other pixely old-school 3D games for Oculus is going to be a very rich person. There's a big market for nostalgia.

We have had that on the Vive for a while now. Hopefully the SDK will settle in something in common because developing the same game for every different platform (Vive / Oculus / PSVR / OSVR) is a fucking pain in the ass D:

Yeah I know vive had hand controllers, but the Touch is apparently a tad better than the vives nunchucks. Basicially Oculus and Vive are now neck and neck.
Actually I would give a slight edge to Oculus because of the exclusive games, tho I do hope they don't remain exclusive as I don't was another apple product.

e-sports will come. take the oculus w/ a battery powered laptop in a backpack, an empty warehouse you can build a virtual arena in, and you'll have team vrs. team battles a la red vrs blue. figure it to be 1st gen holodeck. really, it's not far fetched. maybe 2 years away from takeoff. 3-4 when ''professional'' sponsored teams start to show up.
And hopefully.... porn. lots and lots of porn. =D
