100 theater movies in 1 year update

Goal Reached!

Just wanted to post that I have officially reached the goal I had set before of 100 movies in theaters in one year. It helped that I had three days off this week and went to the movies each time. But since I last saw The Muppets for an second time, these are the ones I have seen.

Sherlock Holmes 2
Mission Impossible 4
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2 times)
War Horse
The Adventures of Tin Tin* (2 times)
We Bought a Zoo
The Darkest Hour*

That brings my overall total up to 103 movies for the year, almost an average of 2 an week. As an side note, this brings my 3D viewings up to 26 movies this year as well.

I never intended to view this many movies from the start this year, but I find it quite fun to go to the cinema and one of the only places I can go by myself and feel comfortable.

I have no plan to view this many next year either, I just see what interests me, but I do plan on keeping track again, so it'll be interesting to see what my number this time next year will be.

Thanks for the support and watches again everyone, hopefully I'll have more commissions for you all soon as well.

For me, it's either go there or stay around home and watch tv or play videogames, I have nothing else to do with my spare time for now. Heh.

It is definitely always fun, especially when you get an really good one where is seems to only last an short time since you are paying such close attention to it. :3

Damn thats a lot. To see that many here (Accounting for the different cost of 3D movies from regular) that would come out to $1,146.50!

Yup, that's an fair amount, but that's also why I try to go at the cheapest times or at least the matinees, I very seldom go at the highest priced night showings. Plus, I always get an large soda, so I can get an free refill with multiple showings as well. :3

*nods* Theres only like. 1 showing a day here thats not full price generally. A normal ticket is $10.50. 3D is about $13. I saw more movies this month than ive seen all year I think alone in theatres (Saw Muppets, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and Sherlock Holmes 2)

Ah, matinee here is usually 6.50 per showing, but if I can hit the super saver showing, than that is usually 5.50 though it depends on the theater as to when tgey offer that. You picked some good movies to see though. :3
