Instead of using the journal layout that Ive used in the past, where Ive gone and copied a going to con meme journal and filled in my own blanks, Im gonna just make my own, kinda.
So, tomorrow (wednesday the 30th), Im gonna make the couple hour trip from where I live to The Crown Plaza in Rosemont for MFF. That is the hotel Im gonna be staying at along with
and a few others. Its a hotel only like a block or 2 from the con hotel. Stayed in it last year and had no problems other then the room being on top of the elevator shaft.
This year I have chosen to not take my fur suit as though it is a very cool thing to have, I feel it is too much fuss for not enough enjoyment. I will have my new (got after last years MFF) earmuffs and scarf though, and I plan on wearing them for a good bit of the con. Just look for a pair of purple earmuffs, purple scarf with a symbol on them and a vaguely yoshi looking hat with spines. As for other things I will wear, should you wanna try and find me, is I will be taking my rather nice black leather jacket with me and will be wearing that a lot. As well as my normal black cargo pants. And a brown Think Geek "bag of holding" backpack with more then a few buttons on it. You may also see me practicing my viola somewhere in the con hotel lobby.
Things I plan on doing at the con are the Inkbunny Dinner held at The Ram Restaurant and Brewhouse on Friday at 6:30pm. I would also like to attend the Philharmonic Furs group held on Friday at 8:00pm if I can get out of the restaurant in time. Other then those I dont have anything else really planned. Im sure Ill poke my head in a few times into the gaming rooms and see whats going on there. And should Furoticon be there (as Im sure they will be) I will see if I can attend a card tourney for that as well.
I will have my 2 sketchbooks with me during the con should anyone want to draw in them. They are rather nice books and I pair them with a decently stocked coloured pencil kit. I dont really draw myself, though I do draw small funny shaped cartoon face doodles, should you want me to add a goofy face in your stuffs. I will also have my 3DS with Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, among a few other games.
TL;DR version, Going MFF from Wed to Mon. Gonna be staying at The Crown Plaza. Gonna Have lots of fun there. Hope to see you there too.
