So...I am sure even those of you who don't live in the US have seen the swirling cesspit that was this latest US Presidential Campaign. I would just like to say a few things.
I Was With...Aw ***********
That is to say that, while I did vote for one of them, I didn't really feel either was a good choice. I was actually pulling for Bernie Sanders until the Conventions left us with just a pair of dumpster fires as our main candidates. Not to say the other major choices were too spectacular. Each of the main party candidates, to me, respresented some of the deepest problems in our country, be it bad government, bad business, the cold, spooky dead-eyed weasel or the screeching, *&$%-flinging baboon (No offense to any weasels or baboons reading this).
I will admit I voted for the lessor evil, but that is still a vote for evil. And even thought she lost, I am sorry to have voted for evil.
Back Away From the Ledge!
So i didn't even fear this was a thing until I saw a tumblr post last night before bed from an artist I follow, but if there are those of you who are actually contemplating suicide, and listen to me carefully, DON'T DO IT! THAT ANGRY ORANGE CHEETO ISN'T WORTH IT!
I have friends who have had suicidal episodes in the past (And I will admit to more than a couple thoughts on the subject myself) but believe me, it isn't worth it. There are plenty of hotlines I want you to call, which I will now list copy-pasted from that artists tumblr post

Please, just take some time, close your eyes, take some deep breaths, sing something to yourself (I find 'Here Comes A Thought' from Steven universe helps me immensely) and just calm down, because-
We will pull through this. We, as a country, are too strong to be brought down completely by some sac of anger and spray tanner or the most lifelike mannequin you ever did see. If we were to the point either of them could spell our collective doom, we would be in a much worse place.
Things are never as good as you want, but they rarely get as bad as you fear.
So if you are a Trump Stumper (I won't hold it against you) or if you were hittin' for Clinton (Won't hold it against you either) we still have to live together, and we will because, for all the bile, the toxic vitrol that this election has spawned, I still prefer to believe we are inherently good people who want to help each other, even if we don't agree on how to do it.
We will survive, as long as we know how to love, I know we'll stay alive...
