Trains Tentacles (human ver) locked, but you can still see it elsewhere

by
Hey guys, just letting ya know my pic Train Tentacles in which a human girl is being "befriended" by some tentacles had to be taken down.  No worries as the arguably better kitty version is still up and if you'd like to see an ever better version of the original it is on both my Fur Affinity and Hentai foundry pages:

here: http://www.hentai-foundry.com/pic-126024.html

and here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/7060661

I combined the unique parts of each version in to one pic for people to enjoy.

Also don't get mad at the IB mods, the original pic was certainly pushing against their "no humans in sexual situations" policy so I'm surprised it stayed up as long as it did.  lol  Now I know the boundries so it'll inform my future decisions on what gets posted where.

Long story short (as you all should probably be aware by now) if you'd like to see everything I make just check back here, FurrAff and HentaiFoundry and you won't miss anything.

This is something that seems almost unique to IB: I've yet to see anyone who's had items taken down be ranty about it. Regretful, yes, but never actually pissed at the mods, like you see on other sites.

It suggests that their rules are reasonable, and that they're really nice about both enforcing them, and explaining why they have them, rather than what many sites do: "*wham* baleeted! Do it again and ur b&!"

Or it could be that the artists here have a more mature attitude than most. I dunno.

Either way, I think it's really cool.

I would say yes IB in general seems to be a more mature understanding community.  And after my first experience with the mods yeah it is kinda cool that instead of yelling at me, threatening the ban hammer and deleting my submission they just locked it, said it isn't allowed and let me decide what to do with it.  I can't be bothered doing a non nude lesser sexualized version so I deleted it.  I've learned to not bother posting such a pic here again and I didn't even have to get yelled at, so yay!

I've seen a number of pissy artists complaining about being punished for rules they admit they didn't read or intentionally broke. Not going to bother to name names since it'd just stir up drama. The human rule catches out a lot of people who draw human and furry stuff; whenever FA does something to really piss off a batch of people a minor exodus to IB happens, and there's always a certain number of people who don't read any of the rules and assume that IB is exactly the same as FA except for cub being allowed.

My favourite was a writer whose gallery was nothing but humanXfurry smut for pages and pages. The mods finally noticed and locked everything down, and the artist posted a journal that essentially amounted to "I'm being censored because of stupid rules that I never even bothered reading, so screw you all."

But a lot of people do act with maturity and crop/link offsite (which is allowed) or simply link to galleries offsite with their other stuff. It's a mix. There's always idiots.

Yeah I was well aware of the rule but still uncertain to what degree sexualisation could be used as you can depict such things without getting explicit or even showing nudity.  Turns out the rule is pretty strict so now I don't have to worry about what is ok and what isn't.

Yah, I don't think Elix was referring to you there :) More "while there lots of mature people like Zenu, there're always some idiots on the other end of the scale."

It feels like there are a lot more people on the Zenu end, here, though. But that might be that I'm biased in some way:
 - maybe I'm more inclined to +watch the mature ones, so I hear more from them;
 - maybe I unconsciously ignore the complaints here because they don't fit with my rose-tinted preconceptions of IB;
 - maybe IB is just lots smaller, so there the "vocal minority" of 'tards is less audible;
 - or maybe it just genuinely is nicer here.

Hard to tell. Maybe a combination of all these?

Oh I know he wasn't, I was just giving my reasoning for doing it myself.  I'm sure many people do whine and complain about not being able to post human stuff but at the end of the day IB's upload policy is IB's upload policy, they either have it or they don't have a website.  It sucks but that's just how it is.   Personally I don't mind as its quite easy (and even fun) for me to alter my work to be either of humans or furries due to my art style and I've long used multiple sites to post content so I'm use to having to do so.

Hee! I do the same with my stories, so I can publish them in a range of places, furry and non. I think the furry versions usually end up better, though!
