And So Begins the Grand Exodus

Just as every dog will have it's day, every website will get it's time in the sun. I honestly thought that InkBunny's debut was going to be a bit bigger than it was, but I was happy with how it settled into the quaint, comfortable site that it was. It runs smooth and has a delightfully simple design. But now it seems that InkBunny will have it's time in the spot light as FurAffinity (surely the largest Furry Art Site active on the web) modified it's Upload Policy to no longer allow adult cub art. Once again, as it was when InkBunny first hit the scene, people are muttering the sites name, in some cases shouting it as they RAGEQUIT FurAffinity. And what does this mean now for the website? Well, it looks like InkBunny has inadvertently been handed it's Niche.

SheezyArt saw it's rise after deviantArt banned pornographic material. SoFurry (formerly YiffStar) became the bastion of hope for the author. FurryArtPile was the Utopian Alternative to FA (before it imploded on itself and rose again like a phoenix with a broken foot). And now, it is InkBunny's turn to become the welcoming home to the Adult Cub Artist. So let the great move begin! To those of you that are fresh off the boats, I extend to you the warmest of welcomes. It's only going to get better from here. InkBunny will have it's time in the sun!

Or at least until AlertPay drops them for cub material too. XD

Well said, I must say.

I'm personally sick of FurAffinity these days; the only reason I'm there is because it is a huge viewer base.

One of my works was removed on "violation of fair use", when clearly it was not. Then you got the politics flying around like this situation, allow this, baninate that, and it's just overall annoying.

InkBunny is so much better, at least as of this time.

And we can't forget... I'm not into cub art or anything, but even if AlertPay does the same exact thing, there's always the option of sending checks. No service but this one itself to send you the dough for your work to your audience.

Heh, thanks for the welcome! Going to take some adustment from what I'm used to, and I need to find some kind of Firefox plugin (or perhaps a greasmonkey script) like the one I used on FA, but otherwise I like it so far.

Time to begin looking up artists I know and start adding them to my watchlist here, too... >> Aieee, thas gonna take a while @@;

I think AlertPay is going away, but that doesn't mean we'll make the same decision FA did.

We don't really want to be stereotyped, but if more people are willing to join our big melting pot, that's fine with us. :-)
