2016 has been severely taxing for me and I just haven't felt like doing much of anything requiring effort.So I'll give you the Reader's Digest condensed version.
From some time early February until the end of March I had an infection on the tip of my first finger on my left hand (my Drawing hand) which swelled to the first joint. I never knew how much I use AND bump that finger until it was sore.Thanks to green tea poultices the infection was drawn out but it made a large blister filled with pus which had to be dealt with, not my idea of a good time. While that was going on I had to clean my room for the yearly termite inspection ,then clean my car, for the yearly car inspection, none of which are easy to do when your pointer finger is wrapped in a Antibiotic soaked BandAid covered with adhesive tape to keep the damn thing from coming off.
By April the infection was finally gone but the finger was very,very tender. (I should mention that I kept drawing throughout the whole ordeal but never completely finished any of the drawings)
May wasn't much better...at work I had to clean, then move my "office". At the same time we also had to get rid of machines we no longer used,and rearrange the other equipment to make room for the copiers that we were getting.
Which brings us to June. June 2 is not a good day for me. (it's the anniversary of my mom's passing from cancer in 2000" It wasn't made any better by my 1999 Saturn SL having engine problems that would have been far too costly to fix. We don't have decent public Transportation where I live so I had to get another car.
So that's the state of the onion and why my presence online hasn't been.
I'll try to post some stuff later, but I ain't making any promises :D
