; he busted his ass through insurmountable odds and he proved all naysayers wrong. He really earned this party, and I'm glad to be a part of it. I promised him months ago I'd be there for him. :)
and his parents for a bite at Denny's. We ate light because we anticipated the big buffet at the party. Chicken, lasagna, potatoes, carrots, salad and pastries. The food was pretty fuckin' good if you ask me! :P They served wine and spirits but I chose to stay sober this time around.
I'm not used to huge gatherings with masses of people I've never met. That may sound odd, since I attend furcons at least twice a year. Yet at one point I got overwhelmed and tried to keep my composure, feeling bad I might spoil the party.
totally understood this, so his dad drove me back; we swapped military stories there. I would've stayed longer, but I had to listen to my body. My heel and spine were starting to discomfort me again; I also had to take 2 Advil to numb the pain of a raw tooth (1 of 3) I still need to have extracted.
Now that I'm back in my solitude, I can fairly say it was an awesome day.
interesting. i know what it's like to have a sensory overload from too much attention or partying like that. it's a hard thing to cope with sometimes. i'm glad you managed to still enjoy yourself.^^

you just just a person trapped in existence; no different from anyone else. you are full of youthful vigor beyond myself and many others. what you claim as ugly is just another version of the form of beauty. it only needs be examined from all sides to reveal it's true form, potential, and splendor.
