If you love cute cartoons and have never heard of Oliver Twist, you must watch!
It's a really good cartoon, with really hot little rabbit named Dodger...The Artful Dodger! And of course a puppy named Oliver Twist ^^. Then there's that dopey pig fellow for comedy relief or...something lol.

Gah!! I get so uppity and excited watching good cartoons. Feels like being a cub again *smiles*

I just watched a couple of episodes of Forest Friends. Strangely addicting. It has at least one of the same voice actors as Code Lyoko, and at one point one of the characters says "I grok you". NOT the place I was expecting a Heinlein reference, but it was pretty damn funny.

Yeah, that's a fun one. I loved Oliver's design most myself. I don't know if it was ever released on DVD... probably a couple of episodes here and there.

Did you know there was a 70s animated feature film of Oliver Twist where the music sounded a lot like James Horner's orchestral score to An American Tail? I was quite stunned, actually.

And this TV series looks a lot like Around the world with Willy Fogg. Was that by Saban's too?

I didn't know a cartoon like that was made in the 70's...huh

Looked up Willy Fog on wikipedia:
" Around the World with Willy Fog (Spanish: La vuelta al mundo de Willy Fog) is a cartoon adaptation of Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne. The cartoon was produced by Spanish studio BRB Internacional with animation by Japanese studio Nippon Animation

I could have swore we talked about this series like 4 years ago. I've loved it since I was like 13, so I don't know how I didn't mention it to you. Be that as it may though, isn't it awesome? I often go to this Russian site that has all the episodes, of course they're in Russian, but yeah, I don't go there for the sound. Would be nice to have this series on DVD.

Glad you like it too.

You might have....because I remember seeing Dodger  a couple years ago. There's a Russian site with all the eps 0_0 That would be great to have! I got all of Bonkers in Russian, it was captured from satalite TV and good quality.  Been working on downloading the first season of Oliver Twist and 3 eps of the 2nd season. Yesh, it's a great little cartoon. I love when they have an ongoing story.

Ah, well either way I hope you find it all. This Russian site seems to have almost every cartoon you can imagine, streaming though, TV quality. http://www.adultmult.ru/other.html

I noticed it just has Season 1 of Oliver Twist. 52 episodes in one season? Damn, I feel like I'm missing out now. Note on the site; it keeps track of your IP so it only allows one going at a time. Hope this helps.

they have the last ep? and to be honest I wondered why it was on tv it felt passed its prime should have been shown sooner maybe on a uhf. saban got weird by the late 90s and then focused only on power rangers then sold off to disney

Who? Youtube? I dunno if anybody has the last ep because that Russian Site Fenril mentioned above. Heh, a lot of TV got weird around the late 90's. I couldn't stand Power Rangers...

I remember this very well, it ran quite often on German TV. Artful Dodger was my fav character. :)
I've never seen any fan art though, guess the show only was screened in Europe

I think you're right about that. Although...I did kinda stop watching TV after the year 2000. Cartoons got really terrible for a while ^////^ . I've been trying to find info about it but it's really spotty. One source said that it only aired on NickToons (i didn't have cable back then) and another said it aired from1990-91, then another from 1996-97 lol.

I would like to draw some stuff of these guys though. It's too good not to ;)
