Hmm, I'm using Fennec F-Droid (which is a firefox rebrand, built from sources and with the auto-updater reomved) and it seem to be working okay with IB (hadn't had it crash once on me)...

But then again, I'm only really reading stories through it (looking at porn in public places can be quite risky x3)

Don't use Firefox Mobile with Inkbunny. There's a known problem. As far as we know, it's on their end, though we'd gladly make alterations if they gave us a workaround. Chrome works fine!

are they just not wanting to answer or work with you?

As you can see at the link, they are; I think it's more that it's something that'll take some time to figure out - to be frank, Inkbunny may not be important enough for them to do so at a high priority.

could it be because inkbunny uses a static background with a moving foreground? cause another site crashed on me reciently and its the same as here

Yes, it's possible. Such sites are expensive to paint because of the way the background and the foreground interact rather than moving together. There are tricks we're doing to make it cheaper on Chrome for the next release but I don't believe they apply to Firefox (our tests suggest they'd be slower if used, though that's on the desktop version).
