I haven't been able to reply to the replies on my journal because I've been really busy trying to get things added and fixed in the game to get it to playable status. Of course that doesn't mean it's anywhere close to being complete to the level I'd like to see it at. So now I've begun testing in small groups to get all the little problems and inconsistencies out of the way. I'm really not sure how long it will take to find them but I've got a great team of friends who are working on it.
I've already explained in great detail why I'm not going to post it on here until it's ready. I just couldn't handle the amount of feedback I got in the previous build. Rather then fish through comment after comment involving the same problems that were already brought up, and then re-releasing the game which ruined a lot of people saves. I really don't want to go through that drama again. So, when it's ready to go, Aval0n will be posting it on here. Now in the previous journal I did get a lot of questions concerning what's going to be in the game this time, along with what isn't.
What is:
-The board game event has been greatly expanded upon. Strip shuffle wasn't doing it for me, so after being inspired by Crimson Cradle and her HBG board game, I created a scripted event based on the board game itself with lots of random options to explore.
-The cellphone events have been fully fleshed out.
-This game will hopefully have real ending this time. Aval0n is still writing them out. I know it seems like the endings would be the easiest thing to wring all things considered, but he has something planned and he's been really busy with work.
-There are also day to day events, so when the game is released make sure to ask how Cream is doing and she may suggest something interesting for ya to help boost the RWC score. ^v^
What isn't:
-As I said in one comment, the library had to be dropped. It just didn't flesh itself out like I hoped and my worry was that with everything we have added up to this point, I just felt hard coming up with unique events for it.
-The good news is that Vanilla's Computer and the Camera do stuff now. The bad news is that they aren't fully fleshed out like they should be. They server their purpose for now but they may be fleshed out later.
-The Adult Shop is still lacking features as well. My hope is that it will have what it needs by the time beta testing is done as well.
Other Stuff:
To answer some of the other questions I've received. No, I don't consider working on this game a chore. I just enjoy putting it together when Aval0n and the rest of the team provide content to add. I continue to learn something new everyday about flash when I work on it, but I've also been having to restrict myself to prevent coming up with new ideas for the game. Overall the fan base has been really supportive and continue my drive to work on this.
Again, thank you for all your support on this. I will see this to the end. ^v^
