i have a few questions , in the new update will the cell , beach and library be playable ? awell as the shop ? and off to 2nd set of questions . any idea about the story your going to go about with the sonic version of robozou and how to control the chars? like a alian with mindcontrol or so on XD . lastly how have u been and also WOOT first post lol

The cellphone and the beach have been fully fleshed out. The library on the other hand couldn't really be fleshed out. That was my fault. It was an idea I pitched but it never really went anywhere. I mean I understand it could of probably but we've got so much content in the game as it is, it would of just felt like more of the same.

I had thought about adding more info on the Sonic version of Robozou, but I'll save that for another journal.

ah so the library will no longer be in the game ? also dont let people get ya down , after all this is just your guys hobby and we can wait lol . i mean i check fairly daily on info because i enjoy the game . but your not obligated to any1 ^.^ and when its out its out . i mean ya would be nice to try sooner then later lol but upside is skyrim comes out in like 7 days so then 4 days later saints the 3rd . so alot of time playing those will occur XD . but when update comes out im going to try everything out XD shall be fun . oh almost forgot the car . you used to have to find a key for it will there be any side thing involveing the car ? like while driveing can have cream do stuff , or pull over and do stuff outside or in the car . would be interesting if did =) . anyways keep up the good work and have fun dont get stressed over it

I could beg a bit, I find the thought of the risk of being caught trying to do things in the very limited privacy of a library in a place where things are so quite that getting caught would be so easy to be very exciting. Even a worse risk then the arcade or the park.

Course on the same note I'm not in enough of a rush to see it that I'd want the game delayed for it. Perhaps you'll find what you need to be inspired before the final release?

Seriously though, having simple scenarios in the library is no problem, it's the locations that are important, the rest is flavour!!

I'm curious, i have no exsperience in the makeings of games, which part takes the longest to make? Please answer me as if I were a 10year old. :P How long would it take for you to have a dialog box pop up with some text in it, for instance. =)
Also, is it hard to learn to make flash games etc?

I really wish I could give a tutorial on how to do flash, or at least how to build a flash game like this but I don't have the time or energy to do that. What you're asking about is actually very easy to do but I can't explain it in this comment section.

I'm disappointed that you haven't even started beta testing yet. its been weeks and weeks since your last update saying you were really close to starting. Are you still planning on finishing the game by the end of the year? or has that "deadline" disappeared?

All I can do is offer my apologies for the delays in the game. I'm sorry that you're disappointed and I can understand where you're coming from. I feel disappointed in myself as well but I'm not gonna give up on getting this game out.

I'm not disappointed. I've been through Comp and had to write multiple papers a week so I know how much time that can eat up. While I'd like to see an update online by the end of the year an update early next year is probably more likely. I look forward to playing the updated game but don't worry about it too much, I'm fine waiting patiently for the game and enjoying a free product that you and Aval0n provided for us out of the goodness (or perverted nature) of your hearts.

A while back, there was talk of there possibly being at least one male-on-male scene, presumably featuring Tails. Many people, including myself, think he's very cute, so we were looking forward to it. As we understood, it was optional, which suited things perfectly, as we understood that many playing the game may not enjoy it. However, more recently, I recall some talk from Avalon about the scene being scrapped, possibly as a result of homophobic whiners complaining about a scene they didn't need to partake in. Can you tell me more about this, because I am really bummed out if it has been completely removed. I'm still very interested in the game, of course, and appreciate your hard work.

Take all the time you need, but keep in mind, the longer you make us wait, the higher our expectations will be and the greater the backlash might be if you don't meet them.

Just wanted to let you know that some of us very specifically DON'T want to be beta testers. :P

If I was doing testing, I'd have to systematically try a wide variety of things and take notes on where the bugs were and pretty much try to break the game by doing weird things, because, well, that's what a good beta tester DOES. I don't particularly feel like doing that though. I just want to enjoy the game when you release it, which I don't think I could do if I had to worry about such things.

In an interview I did with Aval0nX (https://inkbunny.net/journalview.php?id=19573) had a question that Aval0nX could not answer, so I'm gonna ask the same question: Hear say that game will be made with multiple languages? If true, it would have any chance of the game have Portuguese language of Brazil?

I have only one question for ya and that is could you possibly update more often? Not on the game specifically just in general. I'd rather hear just a bit of the game and more that you're still alive and kicking. My imagination doesn't run off so much when I know that you're doing fine and everything is going well. Just a little check up more often than once a month would be awesome. Maybe once a week or so? As long as you don't kill yourself.

just keep up on the schooling 'Feathers', and I feel ya on the class mate. Terms coming up and I have a revising session that would make a post-doc crap his pants. Stoopid forestry service requiring calculus and micro-biology. What, does counting tree rings, squirrels, and fending off poachers require algebraic formulas now??. . . I was so going some where with this. . .

In any case, keep up the good fight and all that. Any word if we can get an art teaser to satiate our "appetite"?

I'm pleased to see an update. I realize you guys are doing this on your own time; but the delay between the last update and this one was irritating. Not because I expect constant updates; but merely because the last anyone heard it sounded like a release was imminent and then nothing for two months.

In the future if you don't have time to work on the project I think we'd all appreciate it if you just said "Sorry guys we're really busy so don't expect anything soon."

Regardless I hope things are going well for you guys and I hope you'll have the free time to work on this project which you are so graciously producing without any motivation of personal profit.

I have to wonder how many of the people who are in such a rush for the game to be be finished have ever HAD to juggle the demands of Regular Life (work ,school, family,friends and enemies and still find time to create. It ISN'T easy- Creation takes time, hard work, and a large amount of energy - you CAN'T rush it. (unless of course you want to produce crap)

It will be done when it's done and it will be fun to play, and I for one am content with that.

Seriously, I'm fine waiting for it to be a good standard. Don't feel like you have to rush it out if you've got problems irl, just because people are complaining about their free entertainment. They are always going to complain it's not coming out fast enough, just the way we work.

I guess what I'm trying to say is It's just a game, don't let it ruin your social life/work/family.

Though I do have some questions~
1.)Do you find this project to be more of a chore then a labor of love/fun these days?

2.)Will there be any change to how time of day in relation to what you do? It seemed a little odd at points with some events seeming to push the progression of the daylight and others not so much.

3.)Would you say you've learned anything new from this project or more that you refined techniques?

4.)Whats your general opinion of the fan-base? do you think they are to demanding/understanding etc.

That reminds me of when I had to take a Game Research class at college.
For that single class, we had to research and write 4 papers every week, on any game-related topic we chose, PLUS one more that the instructor assigned. Now that was a workout.
Fortunately, that college only had 1 month semesters.

Ah, brings back memories of my college days... 2 papers, 5 homework assignments, 5 online assignments 20 hours+ lab time and a 40 hour a week job.
I ate a breakfast bar in the morning, vending machine snack in between classes for lunch and an $0.88 microwave meal for dinner, for an whole semester.
At least you had time to give us an update on your progress. =D Thanks! Please try and give us more updates on your progress or at least a weekly journal to let us know you are alive lol.
