Seeking Paypal alternatives in Canada

After hours of searching the web and finding nothing that works for me, I thought I'd ask you folks.

I'm looking for a web service that I can accept art commission payments with, that is NOT U.S. only.

Ideally it should be lesser or equal to the Paypal rate, 2.9% of transaction (plus whatever hidden fees people keep complaining about with Paypal, etc. etc. we've all heard the moaning)

A great example would be: Dwolla.  I did research on it and it's the best option by far, having a super low rate of charge, and very few complaints about the service.  It's US only, so I can't use it, but I'd encourage my american watchers to look into it.  But anyway, something kinda like Dwolla but including Canada would be my ideal match.

Drop me a line if you've got an idea, thank you very much.

Unfortunately Paypal doesn't give other players room to participate in online banking like Paypal does. Most socalled alternatives are business-to-customer, while you rather want customer-to-customer.

Given that Dwolla would be an alternative, but I also found payza.com I don't have an account there (yet) but I'd try it out.

You could however also send and receive physical money with MoneyGram or Western Union. In that case you pick your money up at a "servicespot" often the post office.

Oh I found plenty of customer-to-customer alternatives but they are mostly US only

Iiiii'm not sure if I trust Payza

If you're selling to Canadians, an Interac bank transfer might be a viable option.

Inkbunny offers a bunch of options, though plenty of people only use PayPal.

I'm not, unfortunately.  I mean, I'd love to, but it's never happened.

Oh, Transferwise (on that page) looks promising.  I can't send from Canada, but I can receive.

Their rates have been fairly fair to me!

Paypal just charged a 10% fee on my latest incoming commission payment.  That's just silly.

How would you guys feel about using TransferWise to send money for commissions?
