Whee, Snow

Okay, so I live in Connecticut, and we got a freak ice storm. So we're without power. Over a million people without power, at least. And I could imagine that this will take a few days for it to come back on. So I'm going to be offline until the power comes back and stays back.

Eep! Hope it comes back on soon for you and my other friend there (Assuming there out of power too). We had a little snow yesterday but not a lot.

Man.................. I've never seen snow in my life.
Brazil is a Tropical Country, is a hot place in most of the time.

Only in the extreme south of the country where there are low temperatures, already snowed a few times
Very few times in fact, 4 or 5 times in all history.

Yeah... my town got hit pretty bad, too. It was neat until the brown-outs started.

Hey you live in ct too :D but yeah im away st school in rhodeisland and I lost power for a night but my parents tell me its not so great back home and tons of people have no power.

I don't get much snow, so I enjoy it when it comes. Until it becomes inconvenient, then I begin to wonder why there isn't some switch where I can flip it on and off. People can do that with rain and the sun, right? I don't spend much time outside, so I don't really know.

Good thing is that you can put your refrigerated stuff out side to stay cold. Bad thing is that you end up looking like your frozen foods. Also bad news; they don't make freezer bags big enough for humans. >=T

I hear it's supposed to be two weeks at least before all of the state gets power back. I didn't think the storm was too bad, though.

I live in manchester....JUST got my power back last night! This shit was just unreal. I'm grateful though that my home didn't suffer the damages that I've seen nearby. Neighbors on both sides of my house had there vehicals crushed by massive chunks of trees. Literally crushed.

Hope all has turned out well you for you, fellow CT resident.

And to think...just less than 3 weeks ago I was bitching about how it was way too hot for October. Shoulda' kept my fucking mouth shut, eh?
