L'il respect, please, kthx

Gender confusion comments will be deleted henceforth and forevermore.  I'm far from the best artist on this site, and I don't mind (constructive) criticism, but calling my males females and vice versa shows tremendous ignorance and/or disrespect and will not be tolerated.  Offending comments will be deleted.  Repeat offenders will be blocked from this gallery.  If you're not sure, check the keywords for confirmation, or just don't comment.  It's really not that hard, people.

Just accept the picture for what it is.  Peace people.

Not to be the devil's advocate, but I really don't think that anyone dropping a gender-confused comment about your art is doing so out of ignorance, disrespect, or for the express purpose of pissing you off -- hell, I've done it myself. I don't think this new policy of yours is going to do you any favors (or justice), mentally, artistically, or socially.

It's aggravating.  I don't choose what annoys me, and this annoys me.  It'd be different if people suggested improvements, because that helps me and helps my artwork.  Just saying, "Duh, that's a girl" when it's not accomplishes nothing, and is hugely unnecessary when the keywords are right there.  The comments will get deleted, period.  It's not up for debate.

When the picture is clearly labeled with a gender, it definitely is out of either ignorance or laziness. I agree completely. I don't delete them, but I seriously hate hearing my *clearly* female characters called a "he" in a random comment. I never have any problem telling your boys from girls and even if I did I know how to read tags. Although, I do slightly agree that it may alienate some of your viewers but they need to learn one way or another not to be rude...

Oh, also I meant to mention; I actually really have been considering a similar policy regarding RPing in my comments. I can totally respect people who like to RP, but the comments on my pics just are just not the place to do it. Especially if it's being creepy with my characters or utterly irrelevant to the picture.
