[Laptop] Risk of a hardware failure

So today I took my laptop to the PC shop where Glowfox repaired his laptop and this is what happened.

Me: Hi, I have this laptop that doesn't seem to turn on...well it does but it shuts down a second after is been turned on.  See? *shows to the guy*

Him: ... don't tell me, it's a TX2000 right?

Me: ...yeah? How did you figure?

Him: I have 3 others in the back, and they're all dead.

Me: .....

Him: These laptops were meant to die, HP never realizes that their specs are faulty and it's too powerful for the motherboard. Your AMD CPU and the GPU were not meant to be in this motherboard. These cases are common in HP TX2000 series , the laptops tend to normally die within it's 10th month or the extreme rare cases like yours 2-3 years.  Now what I can do here is to try and repair this and hopefully it'll work. I will have to downgrade your Operating System to WindowsXP Profesional 32bit so that the CPU and the GPU won't over-heat as fast as it does with Vista or 7 , which ever you have installed.
This service is going to cost 90$ ...and that is if I succeed, it's rare I get to repair these laptops.  I feel sorry for you that your TabletPC has become to this but it's true that HP never admits their fault and these tablets were designed to die before the 14th mark.  I'll do my best but I don't guarantee it's survival. If it survives, it'll last 1 month or 3 or 6 or 12 months , but not too long. I suggest buy another Laptop. This laptop of yours has a high chance of a hardware failure, if that's the case... your HP Tablet has closed it's eyes for eternity.

Me: ...... *signs the paper*  I'll leave it in your hands.

Him: Thanks for trusting me, I'll do my best.

----

Short story, my laptop is in risk of a hardware failure due to faulty specs from HP. I've researched this problem and it seems that I'm not the only one... apparently other 15,000+ users are affected who bought this laptop and now are facing with this problem and HP refuses to repair it unless those folks can afford a 700$ repair.
*sighs* I hope my laptop won't part ways with me, I'll be devastated if my laptop dies.... x____x

Hmmm... don't buy any HP =c You basically pay for the name and not for the quality unfortunately.
I had an HP all-in-one. High prize of the device itself plus very high price of the inks owO For 17ml colour ink it would cost me about $30-35 =/ Aaaand it was faulty device. After 2 years of using scanner started to just jam itself and the device was unusable. The only thing they could do was to exchange for a new device o.O Of course the warranty was out, so I had to pay full price =/ And now, after another 2 years, it sometimes jams itself too. =c So it ended up on eBay XD
Now I have Epson and I pay $15 for all (yes, all!) the inks, that is black, blue, yellow and red ink separately, 20ml. And if for example yellow will be emptied, I just change this one. In HPs you have to change the whole colour cartridge. =c

Anyway, I hope your laptop will somehow work and you will be able to use it c;
